burjuin brings up a good point. I'd rather have a missle that reaches Istanbul, just in case.

Great read, thanks for posting.

But this doesn't make any sense. I don't see azeri's attacking Armenia proper and even worse Armenia's nuclear power station.

and its Metsamor nuclear power station a potential target of enraged Azeri bombing. Thus, Armenia proper might pay a greater long-term price for a Karabakh victory than would Karabakh itself.

if we hit their oilfields and pipelines, they'll try to retaliate anyway they can.. so that's expected.

I understand there are defences for the nuclear station in the form of the S-300s .

I assume when war breaks out Armenian Armed forces will be fighting as Artsakh Defence Force. And every attack will be lauched from Artsakh and Armenia proper probably will deny any envolvment. Therefore an attack on Armenia proper from azerbaijan would result CSTO members to help out Armenia against the aggressor. We know it the azeri's know it, that's why i don't see azerbaijan attacking Armenia proper.
There are of course other scenario's but this one seems the best one.

Azeris are scared of Russia, especially after the Georgia war, they know that if they touch Armenia proper they risk being annihilated.

People also tend to forget that besides the extremely well anti-air weapons we have, we also have 18 of the most modern versions of MiG fighters (Russian base, but as soon as Armenia proper is dragged into war, Armenian pilots will use them anyway). If I am not mistaken, most of the MiG fighters Azerbaijan possesses are not active and are older versions. One way or another, the future is ours my comrades! Let the oil run out, prepare for war, and destroy them once and for all!

Although some things need to be improved, we can be terribly proud of our army!
