In September, at the firing ground near the Russian city Alabino, the teams of soldiers from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Ukraine hit qualifying standards in shooting. It was a part of the program of two contests titled “Professional” and “Sniper”. Armenian soldier.

What are the red marking on those rounds mean....it can't be tracer rounds, they are normally loaded every five round and the red strip is on the tip of the projectile and not the base.

Red stripe at the bottom of the bullet is lacquer sealer, which is used on all types of ammunition 5.45x39. The picture shows the standard cartridges 7N10

YEREVAN. – BM-27 Uragan (Hurricane) multiple launch rocket systems were not distributed in the parade in Yerevan according to the logic of ‘uncertainty of the strategy.’

Commenting the Moldavian press publication on Armenia’s Hurricane systems, deputy head of the Caucasus Institute Aleksander Minasyan said that the tendency is fully accordance with the anticipation policy of the Armenian authorities for the recent years.

As for why the systems have not been shown during the pageant, the expert stated that there is a so-called conception of ‘uncertainty of the strategy.’

Meanwhile, Minasyan said that the systems have quite a significant meaning for the Armenian side, as, in case of resuming military actions, it is of great importance for Armenia.

Thanks burjuin, it must be sealant like you say. Now that you mentioned it I have also seen them around the primer but this not standard on all ammo, it seems to be standard only on Mil spec, steel casing, and high end manufactures like Wolf.
