1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The Latvian authorities will likely revoke license from the company which was earlier reported to have brokered a weapons deal between Armenia and Moldova.

The Moldovan news outlets have quoted a spokesperson for the country's defense ministry, Yanis Sartar, as saying that the sale was illegal. He said the company had assured the Ministry that the Latvian authorities approved the transaction.

"Anything related to the deal is very complicated. Today we come to know new and more interesting details. So it's difficult to say at present how the process will end," he said adding that the special services in Latvia are conducting a probe into the matter.

A Latvian newspaper had earlier reported that journalists had obtained the agreement by which Moldova confirmed selling weapons to Armenia.

It said the parties to the agreement were the Moldovan Defense Ministry and the Latvian company Latspeceksports. According to the paper, the latter purchased arms from Moldova to sell them to Armenia.

It further claimed that the Latvian company did not have an official permission from the Foreign Ministry to carry out the deal. Its request for obtaining a license had been reportedly rejected.

Moldova was recently reported to have sold 60 tons of outdated weaponry to Armenia. The country's Defense Ministry confirmed the report; the Armenian side denied it.

something is really really fishy and rotten about this. Armenian side denies, and someone in Moldavia shipped the weapons to Armenia.

                      apa.az

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. Armenians are expected to open occupied Khankendi airport in spite of warnings by the government of Azerbaijan.

They tested night lighting system of runway strip last weekend, APA reports referring to Armenian media.

The airport has 2300-m runway strip with 20 m width. They are planning to open the Khankendi airport with flights to Yerevan at first. The runway strip was extended and summit of the nearby hill was smoothed out for making plane landing easy.

Armenians have started the construction of main airport building in 2008, but the opening scheduled for May 9, 2011 was delayed due some technical problems.

Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration stated that the construction of airport in the occupied territories and organizing flights from other countries to Khankendi without permission of Baku are illegal actions. Baku warned that all measures considered by the legislation, including physical elimination will be used against the planes flying to Khankendi without permission of Baku.

The water carrier of the military unit of the Defense Ministry struck mine. There were several servicemen in the vehicle, none of them was injured.

                      The vehicle was seriously damaged.

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. “Armenians may conduct Yerevan-Khankendi flights, they may do it even today, but it can not justify itself from economic or other points of view.

The foreign planes will not be allowed to violate air borders of Azerbaijan and to make landing at the Khankendi airport”, chairman of the Public Union of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh Bayram Safarov said.

He said the international law didn’t allow the opening of international airport in Khankendi. “Armenians are making sabotage action. If they receive flights, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Azerbaijani people will take necessary measures”.

Answering the question “Does the Public Union of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh address the international organizations concerning this issue?” Safarov said: “The Union has a little scope for solution of such issue. Azerbaijani President and state pursue right policy toward it. Our community supports all steps made by the Azerbaijani President. There are international aviation laws and on the basis of these laws, Azerbaijan will prevent the illegal actions of Armenians”.

Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. “The Armenians, who occupied Shusha city of Azerbaijan, destroy the Azerbaijani Muslim monuments and carry out work towards their armenization”, said Chairman of the Public Union of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh Bayram Safarov, APA reports.

Community Chairman underlined that they repeatedly addressed the international organizations concerning these acts of Armenians, but their addresses remained without response: “In general, the international organizations avoid expression positions to these facts. We even addressed the Russian Patriarch concerning the destruction of Shusha mosque. We received a laughable answer. They responded us that the sides must agree with each other on this issue”.

Safarov reminded that Azerbaijani leadership carried out constant work against these steps of Armenians and raised issue at the relevant organizations: “But Armenians don’t leave offensive actions. It judges from their trait and gen. As they don’t have their own land, they want to create the impression of “ancient nation” by armenizing our monuments”.
