The phrase Karabagh under Russian control made my stomach turn.
Karabagh belongs to those who have roots there from thousands of years, fought and died for its independence and
are making huge sacrifices to hold and provide its people safe and secure future.

If you have a source providing the text of the letter, I would be happy to read it in full !!

    .
I did come across another news source with a lot more quotes from the actual letter (translated into English) so it will be out there somewhere.

There was also a commentary about the ethos behind its writing - the admittance, by implication, by its author that no peaceful solution to the conflict will ever be found, and that Yerevan is incapable of properly defending NK in the long term, and only Russia will be able to properly do it.

The letter is I think, in its essence, an application to rejoin the Russian Empire. Which is why it is important to know if this letter is just an application by one private individual, or an individual acting on behalf of a section of the Armenian authorities interesting in testing the waters about this possible road for Armenia's future. The fact that a lot of the Armenian media sources stress it was an individual (but without giving readers an explanation about why it is important to know it was just an individual) suggests to me that actually it was not just a private initiative by Zori Balayan. Other recent events, such as the sellout of Armenian interests to join the Russian custom's union backs up that opinion. So, it is not unreasonable to fortell a future campaign (led perhaps by the oligarchs who run Armenia) for the re-admittance of Armenia into a reborn, Putin-led, Russian Empire. (However, apart from the prestige of it happening, Russia has probably little interest in seeing such a thing ever happen).

more Russian pilots sent to Armenia....this is got to change, Armenian sky belongs to the Armenian pilots only...in the near future.
We can fly those Migs just as good as Russians, only if we had them.

BERNARD FASSIER: ARTSAKH MUST TAKE PART IN NEGOTIATIONS DIRECTLY

The French ex-co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group attended the third
forum of Armenians of Europe in Brussels on October 14-15. In his
address he called Russia and the United States to change their policy
on Artsakh. Today the head of the ARF Office of Political Affairs
Giro Manoyan commented on Mr. Fassier's appeal, tert.am reports.

"Bernard Fassier's participation was important who raised very
interesting and important issues on the second day of the conference
held at the European Parliament. He presented his vision of the
Karabakh conflict and stressed that Artsakh must take part in the
negotiations directly and negotiations must continue according to those
proposals. He also called Russia to refrain from the divide-to-rule
policy and the United States to ignore its partnership with Russia
in its mediation efforts," he noted.
