Here is the eyewithness account from a soldier who participated and was wounded also. There is no word of Armen fighting alone. Aver all 6-7 people, including their commandeer have fought a against 3 groups of az special ops numbering around 30. The whole thing lasted 30 min. Հունվարի 19-ի լույս 20-ի գիշերը ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանին հակառակորդի դիվերսիոն խմբերի հարձակման ժամանակ փոխհրաձգության հետեւանքով զոհված, կրտսեր սերժանտ Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանը կարծես կանխազգացել է իր մահը: Այս մասին լրատվամիջոցների հետ զրույցում պատմեց դեպքի օրը Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանի հետ դիրքերում գտնվող զինծառայող, շարքային Նորայր Մկրտչյանը:

«Այդ օրը առավոտյան Արմենի հետ խոսում էինք, ասաց պատկերացնում ես` ես մեռնեմ, ծնողներս ինչ վիճակի մեջ կլինեն, ես էլ ասեցի` Աստված չանի, տենց բաներ մի խոսա»,-պատմեց Նորայր Մկրտչյանը:

Նրա խոսքով` վերջին օրերին Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանը անընդհատ ասում էր, որ ընդամենը 5 ամիս է մնացել ծառայության ավարտին. «Պատկերացնո՞ւմ ես՝ 5 ամիս, հլը բերանով ասա՝ 5 ամիս»:

Նորայր Մկրտչյանը պատմեց, որ Արմենն աչքի էր ընկնում իր կազմակերպվածությամբ և բարձր պատասխանատվությամբ:

Նորայրը պատմեց ողբերգության օրվա մանրամասները. Առաջին կրակոցն անցել է նրանց գլխավերեւով, Արմեն վազելով մտել է կացարան, զեկուցել դիրքի ավագին, վերադարձել ու հրահանգել՝ համար 1 պատրատություն։ Դրանից հետո 10-15 րոպե ոչինչ տեղի չի ունենում։ Արմենը գնում է տարածքը ստուգելու։ Վերադառնում է, ասում՝ «նորմալ ա, տղերք ջան, գնամ դիտակետից դիտարկում անեմ, այդ պահին կրակոց է լսվում նրա ուղղությամբ»։

Նորայրը կրակոցի ուղղությամբ հինգ պատասխան կրակոց է ուղարկում, ու այդ պահից սկսվում է անկանոն կրակահերթը հայկական դիրքերի ուղղությամբ։ Նորայրը վիրավորվում է, դիրքի ավագը նրան տեղափոխում է կացարան, որից հետո կազմակերպում պաշտպանությունը, որը տեւում է մոտ կես ժամ։ Երբ ամեն ինչ վերջանում է՝ պարզում են, որ Արմենը զոհվել է։

Վերջին բառերը, որ Արմենից լսել է Նորայրը. «Վախ, վախ, վախ»։

Արմենին հողին կհանձնեն վաղը Եռաբլուրում։ Կլինի պատվո պահակախումբ, զինվորական նվագախումբ, զորամասից եւ նախարարությունից բարձրաստիճան սպաներ կայցելեն՝ հարգանքի տուրք մատուցելու։

Ավելի վաղ NEWS.am-ը հայտնել էր, որ հունվարի 19-ի լույս 20-ի գիշերը, ժամը 23:50-ից մինչեւ 00:15-ի սահմաններում, ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական զորքերի շփման գծի հյուսիսարեւելյան (Ջրաբերդ) եւ հարավարեւելյան (Կորգան) ուղղություններում՝ արձանագրվել են ադրբեջանական կողմի դիվերսիոն խմբերի ներթափանցման միաժամանակյա փորձեր. մարտական դիրքում իր առջեւ դրված մարտական խնդիրը կատարելու ժամանակ զոհվել էր կրտսեր սերժանտ Արմեն Լեւոնի Հովհաննիսյանը:

Արցախի նախագահ Բակո Սահակյանը ստորագրել էր հրամանագիր, համաձայն որի՝ ԼՂՀ պետական սահմանը պաշտպանելիս ցուցաբերած արիության համար ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության բանակի N զորամասի կրտսեր սերժանտ Արմեն Հովհաննիսյանը հետմահու պարգեւատրվել է «Արիության համար» մեդալով։

Something worth noting is that this incident took place right after Alieve returned from a meeting with European leaders. This could mean one of two things 1 he is frustrated and is flexing what muscles he has since he did not get what he wants or 2 he got assurances from the west that his deeds would not be frowned upon by the west. No way of really knowing which is the case but i do believe the results of that meeting are related to this attack.

This people should be hanged for using the death of a hero to attack the state and mix their propaganda in story. This badalian piece of xxxx twists the story as Armen fought all alone and then separates him from military of Armenia so he could level some criticism onto state. Doesn't lragir have a bit of decency left? I guess no

Here is a clip of his funeral in Yerablur's Azadamardik panteon. Watch his commander hugging Armen's father in sorrow as he was presenting the medal. Also minister of defence having words of condolence with him.

On my part, I'd like to add that the line of contact is very long and our posts are spread thin. Command centers and help are sometimes not very close and it will take time in hills for any enforcements to arrive. So some of the posts have to do their defence with their own power initially. If enemy concentrates manpower at any point, they can have large initial advantage and for our guys god and their courage is the only help. That is how it has been in Artsakh war too and shows the currage of our boys.
There is also a chance that before commiting troops our local command would think about the possibility of diversionary attack by the enemy in order to draw our forces on the wrong location, while a larger attack is to be carried out elsewhere. This could slow decision and action.
