It would be awesome if we could buy some us weaponry and have them in our arsenal and perhaps do some reverse engineering on them if we get bored

U.S. looking to sell old military hardware
U.S. officials say the country is looking to sell or dispose of billions of dollars in military hardware, including sophisticated and highly specialized mine resistant vehicles, as it packs up to leave Afghanistan after 13 years of war, according to the Associated Press.

Finding a buyer is complicated in a region where relations between neighboring countries are mired in suspicion and outright hostility.

A statement Monday, March 31, issued by the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan says Islamabad is interested in buying used U.S. equipment. The statement said Pakistan's request is being reviewed but any equipment it receives, including the coveted mine resistant vehicles, will not likely come from its often angry neighbor Afghanistan.

An earlier U.S. Forces statement was definite: Pakistan would not get any U.S. equipment being sold out of Afghanistan.

Why are the Azeris fighting in Syria?

Two more Azerbaijani citizens killed in Syria identified

They are from Sumgayit and Gubadli

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Two more Azerbaijani citizens killed in Syria have been identified, APA reports.
They are Azerbaijani citizens Zahid Nasirov aka Abdulvahid and Tamerlan Mammadov aka Rabbani. Both of them were shot in the head by a sniper.


Mammadov is from Gubadli region and had been settled in Sumgayit after the Karabakh war.
Nasirov is a resident of Sumgayit city.


Mujahideen posted their photos on social networks.

As the situation became tense a large number of Azerbaijani citizens started to go Syria and fight against the government forces within various radical groups. Nearly 100 Azerbaijanis were killed in the battles during this period. Photos of most of them were posted on social networks by the Mujahideen.

Earlier, reports were spread that 12 Azerbaijani citizens were killed in Syria within a day.

For money,
Within 3 years they had ~200 deaths if not more.. better for us if they fight there. in case of Armenia-Azer war they will fight against us. those people do not fight for nationality or country but for money.

Ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցների փոխանցմամբ՝ Սիրիայում վերջին օրերին սպանված ադրբեջանցի 2 զինյալներ մարտնչում էին «Իրաքի և Լևանտի իսլամական պետություն» իսլամիստական խմբավորման շարքերում։

Ինչպես հաղորդում է ադրբեջանական ԱՊԱ լրատվական գործակալությունը, հղում տալով զինյալների սոցցանցային էջերին, նրանցից մեկը կրում էր «Հասան Ազերի» մականունը, սերում էր Բաքվից, մյուսն «Աբդուլ Մեթինն» էր, (իրական անունը՝ Էլշադ) Սումգայիթի բնակիչ էր։

Վերջին շրջանում Ադրբեջանում փորձ է արվում Սիրիայում կռվող ադրբեջանցիների հարցը բերել իրավական դաշտ, սակայն Միլլի մեջլիսի ընդունած օրինագծերի համաձայն՝ Քրեական օրենսգրքում սպասվելիք փոփոխությունները ազատազրկում են ապահովում թերևս ոչ թե կոնկրետ Սիրիա մեկնող ադրբեջանցիների, այլ նրանց մեկնել դրդող անձանց (ըստ երևույթին մզկիթների կրոնական համայնքների ներկայացուցիչների) համար։

Սիրիայում ադրբեջանցի զինյալների կռվելու վերաբերյալ լուրերը սկսել են մեծ թիվ կազմել ադրբեջանական մամուլում 2013-ի վերջից։ Ընդ որում, մինչ օրս անհայտ են դրանց սկզբնաղբյուրները։

Այնուհանդերձ, հաստատապես կարող ենք ասել՝ զինյալներից մի քանիսի դիակների լուսանկարները սոցցանցային էջերում տարածվել էին շատ ավելի վաղ, քան դրանց մասին սկսել են հաղորդել ադրբեջանական լրատվամիջոցները։
