You have forgotten that ASALA that came into existence in the 1970s was highly critical of the diasporan political and church organizations, and according to foreign media reports, the Dashnak party created a rival group, the Justice Commandos to undermine ASALA

I did not forget anything and I don't care how you try to take out ASALA out of diaspora's context. There have allways been criticism between everybody in diaspora. That's out of context here. Dhashnags or ramgavars or any armenian party of tea or A_Z group is still an Armenian diaspora.

Lampron, I am not arguing with you about diasporan organizations. that is not the subjec there. What is the issue is that who came from outside (diaspora) to be a hero in Armenia.

They benefit no-one and they alienate moderate Turks who are potentially one of Armenia's greatest assets

Because of moderate Turks (and Kurds) demonstrations and public gatherings have taken in place in Turkey on April 24 since 2010

They benefit no-one and they alienate moderate Turks who are potentially one of Armenia's greatest assets

The surprise is that the #1 diasporan hero should come from the ranks of a very small group that was formed much later in diasporan history, and not from the much more numerous, well established and organized political parties with the branches across the world

Hakob - Monte is a national hero but what is your point exactly? I think most Armenians know who he is how brave he was and what he done for the freedom of Artsakh.

The diaspora's role is exaggerated by those diaspora leaders and churchmen who want an easy life. They are extremely proud of and give maximum publicity to telethons but the amount of money collected is a drop in the ocean!

so yeah going back to what Sparapet said - diaspora couldn't even get together to buy 20000 army boots.

you don't know anything. stop trying to sugar coat things. accept the failure of 6 million diaspora Armenians - and make ask yourself the question should the time of need happen again - JUST HOW MUCH CAN WE REALLY RELY ON THE DIASPORA OR HOW CAN WE MAKE SURE EVERYONE WILL HELP. help by fighting and donating and not donating $10.

Diaspora consists of 8 million Armenians. It acts like it's a diaspora with 500,000 people. If you disagree you are lying to yourself if you agree work towards making this diaspora work like 8 million Armenians.

If an emergency (God forbid) happens, the answer is no - the diaspora's ability to help Armenia is sadly only marginal at present, but the potential exists

1.5 Million of my brothers and sister got slaughtered . We lost most of our country . We have another genocide happening within our diaspora (armenians marrying odars). We lost our churches. We lost our wealth. We almost got another genocide in 1992. Turks/ gray wolves went on a mission to kill more Armenians in Artsakh. Just to name a few of the coward things animal turks have done to my people.

Despite many Lunatic Armenians saying 'Turks are reformed' these kind of statements are lunatic. Turks have never been 'sorry' never 'reformed' still deny until this day. IF TURKS ARE REFORMED WE WOULD GET OUR LANDS BACK AND COMPENSATION. 100 years denial is all we got.

I think the minimum i could do is write 'a good turk is a dead turk' which is the case.
