Why is that part of the history OK, but not the Persian part which is several thousand years longer?

When did I say it's not a part of history? All I'm saying is that modern Armenians are a typical post-Soviet people, and some of those historic Persian influences that happened ages ago have either eroded or just assimilated into Armenian culture. That being said, just because we were part of Persian Empire in some point in time in our long history, doesn't mean we belong in "Greater Iran", because we are not Iranian, and we don't want to be part of Iran. We see ourselves as clearly separate.
