Մայիսի 1-ի առավոտյան սկսեց Ազգային ժողովի հատուկ նիստը, որով պետք է ընտվեր ՀՀ վարչապետ։ Հանրապետության հրապարակում տեղադրված մեծ էկրաններից, հարակից այգիներից ու սրճարաններից հազարավոր մարդիկ հետևում էին պատգամվորների բազմաթիվ ելույթներին, հարց ու պատասխաններին։ Երեկոյան տեղի ունեցած քվեարկության արդյունքում 45 պատգամավոր կողմ քվեարկեց առաջադրված միակ թեկնածուի՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի օգտին, 56 պատգամավոր՝ դեմ։ Նիստը հետաձգվեց մեկ շաբաթով։ ԱԺ-ից Հանրապետության հրապարակ ժամանած «Իմ քայլը» շարժման առաջնորդ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին դիմավորեցին առավոտվանից այնտեղ կանգնած հարյուր հազարավոր քաղաքացիները։ Փաշինյանը կոչ արեց քաղաքացիներին հաջորդ օրը ավելի մեծ թափով շարունակել քաղաքացիական անհնազանդության գործողությունները՝առավոտվանից շրջափակել հանրապետության հաղորդակցության բոլոր ուղիները` փողոցները, երկաթուղին, մետրոն, օդանավակայանը, միջպետական ճանապարհները:

Out of all those scenarios only realistic one starting war with azeris and getting russia involoved. Even if they get that to happen dont they realize that their will be a huge vendetta out against them?

To divert, delay, find somebody else friendlier then Pashinian, to get people tired of protesting. To get russian or other foreign help. Maybe to organize scare or kill.
Anything bad you can imagine for Armenian people and prolong their power.
Accepting Pashinian as PM means accepting guilt and loss of lot of money.

If parliement is going to dissolve next week what is the point of HHK not voting in Nikol today if they will be dissolved next week?
