Lets hope were are at a turning point for the better.

What is amazing is the appointment of the baker General to a more lucrative position to be able to line his pockets.
I hope similar axe is weighted in the military.
Agreed this is not Karen Karapetyan responsibility.

There was not a single individual within the ruling party to handle running of the government.
An outsider was able to come in and within months identify the bad apples and replace them.

What is the credibility of the ruling party.

What is the credibility of the untouchable President who wants to be re-elected.

It appears he wants to occupy his post without responsibility,
His specialty, making monumental and catastrophic strategic mistakes .... of course without any comeback.

we have to wait to see how much of this is an act, and how much of it is authentic. to see how much fundamental changes will be implemented. I really hope it is legitimate because the clock is running out on our republic.

And i really hope serzh realizes his time is up and walks away in feburary of next year. because if he doesn't, i can tell you there'll be a bloody revolution here.

If you would know soviet system like I do, you would know that nothing and no one is ever changed without approval of top leader and support of the party pyramid underneath. The environment has changed from communist to capitalist (sort of) only. But the system is the same.
How would'nt countriy's leader know for so many years that his minister that gets paid 200000 drams a month has amassed $200 million abroad?
Because he and his clan had a cut.
Changing few ministers, but the system of corruption is still the same. Clans and their webs are still there and doing well.
Few changes had to be made to avert public catastrophe and they are doing just that.
A little bet less ( it almost had gotten to a disaster on front with Azeris), a little bit more measured and controlled will do now.
Got a new, nice fellow with good and fresh public image refining the house and public image for the good fellows.

Good point, but now i'm questioning, who is our next leader and who is our next ruling party that is the least corrupt? That is my question, I know Mr Sargisyan isn't going to have a 3rd term and if he does have one, well lets hope the civil war ends quick.

But be aware of last minute maneuver and surprise from HHK.
They have plenty of plans and opportunities up their sleeves. Even for post election fixes, like Vanadzor and Gyumri have shown.
The changes you guys desire so much will only happen when public is conscious and aware a great deal. It's a matter of natural survival. Public will become more politicised and polarized which will help an even unknown until then individuals or group tip the scale, get power and force real changes.
Let's hope this new group(s) are driven by real national vision and HHK clan does not have antidote ready in case.
I am talking about what looks like could be an international trend.
Trump in US or fast rising waves in eutope.
Those that defy even their parties and ride a wave of support to implement unconventional or extreme changes ( if it proves that Trump is genuine and not another trick of Goldman and Socks).

Why wouldn't HAK participate? As I saw they were negotiating to introduce cameras and fingerprint verification and also read some article that Levon will personally manage their election campaign. If they don't participate that would be better though.

One thing I should add is that, there's plenty that can be improved in Armenia without disrupting the oligarchs. there are many things that are simply ran ineffectively than can be corrected if someone simply cared.
