Re: Are there Persians in Iran?

    Parskahay

In terms of national identity, loyalty, language and cultural affiliation are as if not more important than race. 99% of ethnic Persians are ethnically mixed and it's fair to say that Iran has been both Arabized and colonized by non-Persians.

The same is true of Azeri "Turks" as like most Turks they are ethnically mixed. The Turk is most irresponsible and is in the business of siring bastard children (under the premise that he is further Islam) and the Azeri are not alone.

20+8+15+3+15=61mil persian people which ONLY live in iran i dont even count diaspora(there are many persians around the world)
there are 60 mil armenian people world wide
and one more thing the culture of iran and persians changed the turks in iran they now love armenians and reconize the genocide

ALL READ THIS SO WE AVOID LATER MISUNDERSTANDINGS!
lol at you for counting the whole city population as 'Persians'.

Anyway what can you wait from a country that was ruled by Arabs and then Turkish imperial houses for the last thousand of years?

Also I am very suspicious about that %51 percent (They say %51 of Iranian population are Persians).. Does not it sound like they are trying to show that Persians are the majority of the country? Why not %49 or %60? Because their population (Persians) is low, 'nearly' a minority is ruling that country. What the heck are Persians doing in Northern and Western Iran? There are far more Kurds and Azeris living at those areas.

I am not a fan of race-based states, so theres nothing wrong with it -having less population-. However its obiviously a lie, that %51 xxxx.

It is like Syrian leaders getting %99 of the votes all the time.

turks never took over Persia, not sure what you are talking about army.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Ah, you're one of those people who consider the Safavid and Qajar dynasties to be "Turkish" just because the founders of the dynasty were Iranian Azeris. History shows that these dynasties were every bit Iranian in terms of culture and outlook.

Afterall, if we follow your logic, Iran today is a "Turkish" state because the Supreme leader happens to be an Iranian Azeri. However, you call modern Iran "Persian". This is strange logic you are using.

Like I said in another thread: The country is called Iran, because over 90% of the population belong to Iranian groups. This includes Kurds and Azeris. If the country was called "Persia" your argument would be valid. However, the country is called Iran, because the majority of the population are Iranians.

If you talking to me, I've never did any joke about Persians.

And I am sure those Turks are just mere Iranians who speak Turkish. Are you also not an Armenian but an Iranian who speaks Armenian?

Kid, when you grow up and live abroad, you'll see that Persians are one of the top nationalists races of the world...

Re: Are there Persians in Iran?

I am not insulting any Persian here. Why are those Turks 'Iranians who speak Turkish' but you are a 'half Armenian', thats what I do not get. Historically, those people (Azeris and Persians-Kurds) are from different regions. Yes, they are shia and they live in Iran. You may call them 'Iranian', however that does not change their ethnic roots.

If Turks in Iran are not really Turks but they are 'Turkish speaking Iranians'..

then Persians in Iranian are also are not Persians.. they are Iranians who speak Persian. huh?

I seriously doubt the person who made that video is Iranian. That's the problem with the internet: People can pretend to be Santa Claus if they want to.
