Sorry, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. Armenia has everything to gain. They have the land that Turks took away. That's what we deserve. The land they took away. If Turkey accepts the Genocide we are getting exactly what we deserve. Your probably thinking, "Oh that can't be right." Oh, but it is. If I beat you up and take your bike and then a few years later you see it on my porch but it's fixed up and has a new paint job wouldn't you have the right to take it back?

Same with Turkey the monuments, people, and government is basically the new paint job in the land they took from us.

Just because Turkey recognizes the Genocide does not mean they will give anything to Armenia. Nor will this mean we are in a position to take anything today. My point is not if we deserve justice. My point was recognition of the Genocide may not grant us the justice we want. All a turkish apology is is empty words.

Its really good to see for and against ideas can be discussed in the topics. I personally believe that genocide argument should be proved by historians. This is not a political issue at this point. As a Turk I support to found a common commission and let them research this historical issue in a neutral platform. Because we are taught that no genocide had taken place. And also you are taught a genocide had taken place. So we all dont know anything, we just repeat what we were taught. So we must see the facts.

There are facts. There's proof of photos identified as dead Armenians. You want proof? Only 10 million Armenians left in the whole world and we were the first race to exist. While only in Turky there is 72 million? Woah, something wrong with that situation?

If we are faking the Armenian Genocide, why?

Why would we choose Turkey and not Azerbaijan.

Why not another country. Why a Genocide? Why 1.5 Million?

I think this is the most realistic point of view. Please do it ! But dont forget to equip all you people in your country of 3 millions including women and children. Because there will be about 55 million people who will welcome you. Otherwise you will have no chance to stay alive.

Did you forget that with only a low number of men with muskets and wooden rifles we beat Azerbaijan when all we had was help from Russia and the U.S.?

They had high-tech weapons and help from 6 other countries. Yet they couldn't win again huntsmen with wooden rifles?

Wow, if your country thinks that your going to win because of numbers then you really are stupider than I thought.

Just because it was not taught in Turkish schools does not mean it is not reality. If you are genuinely interested in the topic then you can find the information to formulate your own understanding on this issue.

Ok then, let me explain by repeating my words on the other forum; Both you, my Armenian friends and the people in my country were cheated and are being cheated. But in the near future this hostile fog will be cleared and we will live in a peace as we did in the last 1000 year. Genocide is a virus between us, but if we can solve this problem with mutual effort in the near future we will be close friends as countries. I believe in this. Because antagonism has no benefit for both sides. BUT THE BIGGEST MISSION IS ON THE YOUTH.

As it says; "OLD POLITICIANS DECIDE WAR BUT YOUNG PEOPLE DIE THERE"

And we can be peaceful youth of two neighbour countries.

Also, if you are that interested in the Armenian Genocide why don't you take it up with higher sources instead of a Armenian Forum?

You must be smarter than that. If your gonna get at it then call up the Armenian embassy and the Turkish embassy and talk with them.
