Re: Armenian-Turkish Relations
Quite right, Turkey was getting worried that the worldwide tide of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide was turning against them and the Truth was winning. Hence they turned to their friends in the State Department, the Swiss who actually donated to the Turkish Foreign Ministry the desk on which the Treaty of Lausanne was signed.
Ara Papian, the former Armenian ambassador to Canada, has made a very convincing case that the Armenian government has the legal right to the Arbitrary Award of president Woodrow Wilson, but because of blackmail by the above noted 'neutrals' has not pursued it. Because of the fear for legitimacy, and the events of March 1 of last year, Serge Sargsyan has bargained away our historic rights just because of a backdoor deal with these 'brokers' that the illegitimacy of his regime will not be challenged.
Before, the said awakening you need to know what is going on, and not formulate your own views as historical reality (including international laws and rights) and start calling people pathetic. Read what the Turks are saying again they need a document that will reaffirm the treaty of Lausanne, which never included the Republic of Armenia as a signitory. This is what they want, and this is what they are getting in their overwhelming joy. Gul made this very same point during the meeting of Turkic nations in Nakhichevan of all the places.
Armenia and the Armenian people are again being sacrificed on the altar of realpolitik by the 'great power' I just never thought that our own government would do this to us, since during most of the previous treaties we never really had our own state and our own leaders that would stand up for us and defend us and fight for our security/rights to the death.

Instead of living in reality you persist to exist in a dream state of your own. Waking up may be unpleasent but atleast its real.
