Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

LOL Why Lenin and not, for instance, Marx, Bakounine, Proudhon, Trostky, Mao...or any of the many "left wing" leaders/thinkers that, in your simplistic and naive understanding of political philosophies, trends and movements, seem to be associated to anti-reactionary movements and views???
Just curious, where did you learn the basics of Political Theory, with your "trailer thrash" buddies at Stormfront or with the thick headed, narrow minded mafioso Dashnag leaders?

In order to hide the simplicity and naiveté of your political views, you'd rather limit yourself to searching the Web for certain type of articles and posting them.

Time will tell...and that is not the issue here; the issue here is your obsessive bashing in order to avenge the envious sore losers that are the Dashnaks.
    In any case,
    1. I've never liked Sarkozy; ironically, I dislike "him" for the sames reasons that I would dislike a psychotic bully like you. He's just a more literate and politically refined/subtle version of you
    2. Though it's way too early to call; but, he seems to be doing fine

What if I find someone else when looking for you? My soul shivers as the idea invades my mind.

It depends on the circumstances. Even if he were a friend, he'll consult the material interests of the power brokers that placed him in that important position. The question to be asked is whether or not our national and ethnic interests are in communion with those major interests bloc's position and political stance , which manage and control the affairs of nations.

IN SEGOLENE ROYAL'S WORDS, SARKOZY CAN NOT KEEP HIS PROMISE ON STOPPING TURKEY-EU NEGOTIATIONS

PARIS, MAY 29, NOYAN TAPAN. Nicolas Sarkozy can not keep his promise concerning stopping the Turkey-EU negotiations process," Nikolas Sarkozy's opponent socialist Segolene Royal stated during the president's elections of France.

A press conference connected with the parliamentary elections to take place in France in June was organized on May 26 at the Mayor's Office of the city of La Rochelle. Some statements were made during the press conference.

Royal mentioned that some part of promises given by Sarkozy during the pre-electoral campaign were simply for getting a vote. In her words, the newly elected President "lied," promising to make changes in a number of spheres. "The time of truth will come for Sarkozy, as people will gradually understand the circumstance of their being cheated, because of unrealizable proposals put forward," Segolene Royal stated.

Who says? So far, the only thing you have done here in "criticizing" the ARF has been; spewing certain things here and there... thus, until you provide some documents or data to support your claims, what you have spread about them, will be considered at best; utter lies, false propaganda and misinformation since the forum needs to be informed... So until then, cut the crap, OK, Miss Hypocrite?

Bashing Armenian Organizations? Again who says? Personnally I have always admired what the AGBU ( and a few other organizations) has done and continues to do in Armenia and in Artsakh on a social level. Quote me please, a single sentence here where I have unjustly bashed (like you) an Armenian organization. But until then cut the crap, OK, Miss Hypocrite?

Are the "much more pressing issues to deal with," for "our country?"

What a bunch of hypocrite and envious sore losers!
Wow, I can't believe how unintuitive you are! My sentence was directed to all of us not just you. Nevertheless, nice try Miss Hypocrite "Party Agnostic"!?!?!

As I said in a different thread, very unlike you, I neither see the ARF as a perfect saint with no faults, nor a total scum and very unlike you, I do not
have a black and white perception of our organizations; as a matter of fact, again very unlike you, I perfectly realize that some of them are capable of doing a fine job on the political ground and others on the social ground.

But it seems that some issues are too emotional for you to handle??
You just made a total fool of yourself Miss Female man; however I understand you; after all it's so hard for Female men to admit that they might be wrong in some cases.

If you like to be respected and understood better, I strongly suggest you reassess some attitudes of yours for your sake; the way you talk to people ( especially you as a woman), not throw false accusations to individuals, have some sense of humour, etc.

Re: Sarkozy - Friend or Foe?

Its funny how the ARF bunnies are supporting Royal merely because Sarkozy kicked them out of his coalition haha. I think they have done the same in Lebanon with Hesbollah. Flip-flop.

This is yet another uninformed statement by garmir biber.
The ARF in France has always had close ties with the socialist party.
Ideologically speaking, in the past, it has often stood opposed to the lebanese branch (with the socialist outlook taking over the nationalist one)
Generally speaking, Armenians in France have traditionally associated with the left (for a number of reasons, socio-cultural, political and historical)
The french "Nor Seround" participates in such events as the gay "pride".

I agree. That's more or less what I meant when I said - using as much as possible Lucin's own words, in bold:

LOL Interestingly, she seems to agree with you but went ballistic when I said it. So much for being objective, rational and calm.

I would simply add that one can find the kind of crap that they are posting in this thread about any other leader in the world to "show???" whether he/she is "a friend of foe." They probably have an agenda and it's probably dictated by the fact that Sarkozy was not their candidate.
