Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I did not listen to the whole thing because its hard to hear on my laptop but he pretty much said the same things me and others here have been saying. I like the part when he asks raffi do you really think you got more votes then me and raffi says no but raffi says people say no one wone this election so he says look if i did not win and you did not win then who won? Serj is good at what he does-being a politition-raffi is good at what he does-screaming.

OSKANIAN BACKS HOVANNISIAN'S PROTEST, CALLS FOR RESIGNATION OF GOVERNMENT

      VOTE 2013 | 21.03.13 | 10:07

Armenia's former Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian has voiced support
for opposition leader Raffi Hovannisian's continuing street protests,
at the same time calling for the resignation of the current government
over what he implied were its failed economic and social policies.

Oskanian, who is a member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), told
RFE/RL's Armenia Service on Wednesday that Hovannisian, who is now on
a hunger strike challenging the outcome of last month's presidential
election, "should take a decision about his further steps himself."

"Six hundred thousand people expressed their protest against the
current authorities and demanded changes of persons, approaches
and policy, and right now the carrier of those changes is Raffi
      Hovannisian," he said.

Oskanian also criticized President Serzh Sargsyan for indicating that
he will make no sweeping changes in the government as a result of
the presidential ballot. The ex-minister said even the official vote
results should have prompted the president to take "drastic actions"
to address popular disaffection with his rule.

The PAP declared itself to be a force "alternative" to the ruling
coalition led by Sargsyan's Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) after
      quitting the government last May.

The party led by tycoon Gagik Tsarukyan has not concealed its
intentions to win power in Yerevan in the municipal elections
slated for May 5. Oskanian is the top candidate on the PAP list to
be submitted for the elections in which the RPA slate will be headed
      by incumbent mayor Taron Margaryan.

He also knows how to handle the Turks like he made a full of Erdogan on the protocols....he was two steps ahead of the whole process with a mix of dearing poker moves.

Came on guys, lets not turn history on its head.

Serj did what he was told by other powers.

The only reason the nation was saved from humiliation was the people would just not accept it.
The nation’s pain and sence of betrayal was so great that they started calling the President a traitor.

If you can see ( remember) the truth, then you can see the correct path.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

The concern here by many of us is that Raffi is doing what he's told by other powers , and those other powers are every bit as unsavory and worse ( by a wide margine ) .
The argument is not in support of oligarch , but rather manipulation from west !!
The support for Serj is based on skill in dealing with giant powers and progress of a Single term .
We are all seeking the truth ( I hope ) .

I can understand that there may be concerns.
Can you inform us the sources that prompt those concerns.

Please do not come up with some abstract statements which are based on low quality electioneering.

No, the argument here is the peoples choice through fair and honest elections.

I have mentioned before, Serj without oligarch cannot exist.

People who support Serj but somehow are against the oligarchs simply do not know what they are talking about !!!

                    @ Londonsti's above post(s)
You say you can understand concern and ask for sources -- Raffi is the source . He promises everything ! Oh , that's believable . Reminds me of US politicians to a " T ". Where is he coming from -- US !!
You ask -- what skill ?!! --- Strong Russian partner and US ok with that !!! Seeks US support and help and Russia ok with that !!! Deal with Iran and no US backlash !!! Tells Hay youth it's up to them to decide to reclaim land stolen by murder and torture and turk calls to congratulate victory !!!
You don't think Hay has improved and advanced more under his watch than all previous pres ???
You say --- only reason nation was saved was (the) people ... You make it sound like everyone supports Raffi . Do you not think many supported Serj ? You say (they) called him traitor as if it's everyone ??? Do you believe that ? How many is -they - ?
Post # 1431 by Haykakan --- Serj asks Raffi -- do you think you got more votes than me ? Are you saying Raffi's response is different than stated ??
