So , you learned this from your Italian teacher.That means your Italian teacher know all the facts about genocide?He/She was one of the witnesses of genocide?He was one of the party leader of Turkish government in 1915 or an Armenian leader that know enough what actually happened in those years?

I was raised in Canada and I guess my highschool history teacher was also brainwashed!!! My family never spoke about the Genocide when I was growing up and I learned it from him when I told him I was Armenian. He was born in Italy in 1935 and played major league baseball for the Detroit Tigers.

Ergenekon investigations....In Turkey most people know that governments doing this in order to make army commanders can be judged in court of law and also they want to strengthen their position in people' minds.Claims about Ergenekon file is half truth half lie.Do not believe everything that you see in TV.
Turks also suffered much in history.So patience is not special for you only.All countries have their own lies,for a good reason or bad.You dont think that ; while you Armenians thinking that Turkey is full with lies , Turks thinking Armenia is full with lie.Both is true in my opinion.

I know what genocide is.

Ottomans was not a pure nation country was including many minorities unlike Armenia at the moment - Armenia's population is %99 Armenians and %1 others right? - That's why Armenians cant understand Ottomans' apprehension about their territorial integrity.

All empires did the same thing , killed or deported rebelling minorities in order to save their lands.Even Armenians have been exiled by the most nation they lived with after a while.Armenian wanted independance - which is a normal human right - so they always been exiled to different places.

Btw it was a deportation , not a mass killing.
