Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Ok, let's just say you're full of sh!t and leave it at that.
P.S. Most of the goodies that women are used to came after the 1960s.

(e.g. a lot of the arab/muslim countries today who seem to still be 300 years or so behind the rest of the western world)
Those same countries were ahead at some point.... that's a rather weak argument. 8% of Americans had plumbing in the early 1900's.... pretty sad considering the ancients had a pretty well designed water disbursement systems in place. 1900 years to figure out indoor plumbing....

The "bad" is that the traditional marriage thing that so many old-timers like to cling to just doesn't work anymore. People get together, go their separate ways, have a lot more freedom and less need to commit. This isn't necessarily bad unless there are kids involved.

But "western" girls are MUCH less dependent on their men's money than the traditional girls that depended on the man's money 100%.
The problem is that men are directly competing with women for salary so 2 people working now have the same or less buying power than 1 person had before. The reason I say less buying power is because they both spend a lot of their income to travel to work and back yet no body is home to keep tabs on home economics. It's basically become a fully automated system where you can take money out of the system and it wouldn't make a difference.

Is that really the best you can do when someone asks you what you mean?

Plumbing? You still want to go back to discuss how the ancients were advanced in medicine etc compared to today? That is a separate thread bud Last I remember you conceded that you were comparing greeks to romans in the ancient days

We are talking about women's rights. In the last 100 years, the western world has made tremendous progress while some of the more "traditional" worlds (especially islamic countries) are still stuck in the middle ages. This has nothing to do with immigrants coming to a new world not having plumbing as soon as they arrived

This is simply not true. It is true that men and women are both competing for a lot of the same jobs but that does not mean they each have less buying power. That assumes economy didn't grow which is just wrong.

You left out the part where I said "because they are spending a lot of their income on traveling to/from work"

Any person who falsely accuses someone should have to pay the consequences: criminally and civilly.
The solution is not to stop prosecuting rapes because a very few people that are screwed up in the head did some incredibly unethical and unthinkable thing.

They want, they want, they want. It's not about equality, it's about wants.
I don't think the standards for firefighters should be lowered to permit more women. I think if those standards reflect what's necessary to do that job then it would be a terrible idea to change them. I don't think most women want the standards or requirements changed for them. They just want an opportunity; to be considered on the same footing.

Uhm... yeah but why are they smarter? Let's face it, take away the western militaries that rule over them and immigration and the "western world" is pretty screwed.

Awesome, then you should start a campaign to get rid of the slogan that "Prosecuting women that falsely accuse of rape will keep the real victims from coming forth."

Great, I'm sure you'll be greeted with respects from the femtards when you suggest that firefighter standards shouldn't be lowered. Btw, in NY the standards are lower for women. Oh, the army also has lower standards.
