I I'm a practicing Muslim myself and I dont wear the Hejab or full veil... because the way i interpret it, it's what's in your heart that's more important than what's on your head, the Qur'an states to guard ones beauty, stating bosoms, it doesnt talk about head or face... that is cultural, but is labelled "Islamic"..

The online lot talk big amongst themselves (well, they delude themselves into thinking their thoughts are "big"), but in the real world they would flee like frightened mice at the slightest sound. And the cretins whose posts prompted your post aren't "Armenia" - none of them live there. That lot are mostly spotty-faced teenagers, the offspring of first-generation immigrants who fled Armenia when the going got tough in the 1980s and then lied their way into America or Canada. They will be gone in a generation, and won't be missed.

Why are you so demeaning? I used to appreciate your posts because I thought they brought a balance to the argument, but why are you so hateful? "the going didn't get tough" in Armenia. It got tough in America over the last couple of years, it got tough in Ireland. In Armenia people had to tear down the forests to have heat and not freeze, they had to kill animals in the zoo to not starve. That's a little more than getting tough.

Furthermore, a majority of Armenians live outside of Armenia, so I think everyone on this board is more than fit to represent Armenians.

Finally, Diaspora Armenians have maintained their identity for centuries before you came around, and they will do so for centuries after you are gone.

The only common feature of Diaspora Armenian communities is that they have all ended in extinction, or are heading for extinction. Look at the posters who posted in this thread at its start - they became extinct (as online Armenians) in only 6 years!

Well when it comes to Islam it seems Shiites are OK toward us Armenians, however Sunnies are big trouble. They want us destroyed. Example would be Pakis, Aghkanis and such. Hell they don't even recognize Armenia as a country...furthermore they are ready to slaughter us due to their Islamic solidarity with Turkey and Azerbaijan (both a discrace to Islamic faith). In Iraq we were told that this is no longer our country and we have to leave or die.

You Islamic women are OK in my book.....actually you make very good wifes, are pretty, good mothers, and excelent cooks but your men are big trouble and if they ever show their faces in Armenia with weapons again we will send them to meet their 72 year old virgin (or wathever) like before.
