I was listening this Armenian program on the radio, there is an old man being interviewed.
It was sooooo unsettling, i cried. He says that he can only afford to buy bread. He has a friend who has a family in the US. They go shopping together and his shopping doesn't last long all he has to get is bread, while his friend can afford to buy everything, and he was saying one by one the things that the friend gets and he was saying in a way that you could tell he was craving for them like a child. To me Soviet was bad but at least the food was not a problem for the people.

Personally, everytime I say things which I haven't heard directly from a Hayastanci, I feel like a hypocrit who may try to feel the situation but can't really understand it. As someone who is not in Armenia, I try to limit myself to giving full support to Hayastancis, but reserve my judgment until the time that the politics and the situation affects me directly.
Why should it be left for only people living in Armenia? Do you know whats the damn reason that i'm sitting in 'here' and typing in 'English' ???

The people of Yerevan are trying but they get nowhere, because they need help from people outside of Yerevan, they need help from people outside of Armenia, people like me and you. The reason i say only people of Yerevan, because thats where the protests happen, and people outside of Yerevan have no way of getting there, did you know there are places in Armenia where people only heard about cars. Basically Yerevan is like a country within a country.

And i really hate when people say "until situation affects me directly..." Thats like saying, "hey i'm waithing to get xxxxed"

If you thought Dodi Gago's house was huge, get a load of Chechen president Ramzan Kadyrov's house http://fishki.net/comment.php?id=82919

Bad taste is a hallmark of both dictators and mafiosi. But at least there is a fair chance that Kadyrov's little home might encounter a well-aimed missile.
