Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Banning or restricting activities of a certain, dubious to say the least, group is not comparable to a genocide.

(see web address listed below)..
Armenians have a serious task of keeping the Armenian identity alive. Especially for the Diaspora Armenians, especially in western countries, it's easy to lose their "Armenianness" which is not desirable for a people who has been subject to genocide. The Armenian nation cannot afford bleeding this way and the Jehovah's Witnesses cult is seriously dangerous for a small nation like the Armenians.
In my opinion, this cult is a Zionist/Freemason conspiracy. Do not be offended, you believe what you believe and I respect that as long as you respect what others believe.
But I have noticed by converting Armenians, especially the poor and the vulnerable, this cult is alienating the people from their community and by making them indifferent towards their cause, endanger this people in the face of their blood-thirsty enemy of a thousand years who can't wait to exterminate whatever is left of Armenians and Armenia, to materialize their sick Pan-Turkist dream.
If you want to convert and turn people into plants then choose a dangerous genocidal people for a change, however, I don't think you'll succeed.
In a way, I respect the Muslims for their resistance to preaching of this sort of cults and their loyalty to their religion.
BTW, why do you guys want to "convert" the FIRST Christian nation, whose unique brand of Christianity is closely tied to their national identity and has worked fine for the last 1704 years?

II. They project (e.g. they replace "Turk" with "Armenian" and vice versa and they regurgitate Armenian history).

If you only know how much sacrifices Armenian people has done just because we believed in God and Jesus Christ? When we believed in God and Jesus Christ we built churches and monasteries by carving into mountains, we have invented new way of engineering to built our monasteries and churches, we invented new alphabet to be able perfectly translate the bible, we fought battles, we been massacred, the Communism couldn’t make us forget God. Why do you need to come to a Christian country and preach Christianity if you didn’t have hidden agendas? such as “Divide to rule”. (by dividing families)

        Adonijah,
As David Icke has pointed out in his writings by the same title, "THE MORMONS AND THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE THE SAME ORGANISATION".

And what has recently (in the last year and a half) been in the news with regard to Mormons and Armenians you might ask?

In a disgusting and insulting act to Armenian national history, culture and religion about 2 years ago at the Salt Lake City, UT headquarters of the Mormon church - Proxy Baptisms took place of Armenian Saints.

What is a Proxy Baptism? Roughly speaking, a proxy Baptism is when a saint from another religion or sect, who has long since deceased, is (through a living MORMON proxy individual) given the chance (during a sort of communication with the "dead" (through the proxy)) to convert themselves to the Mormon sect by baptism. Naturally the dead saint (or his mormon proxy) never refuses.

This is what the sick Mormons did, with Armenian's Surp Grigor Lusavorich (St. Gregory the Illuminator). They converted him (while dead for the last 1700 years) to the church of Latter-day saints through baptism of a living mormon proxy in a sick and sinister ceremony in Utah. This is a disgrace to Religion itself and should cease to be practiced by a respectable sect. However, the proxy baptisms continue, and more Armenian saints were said to have been on the list to proxy baptize and convert to the Mormon Sect.

I don't care if you come knocking on every door in Armenia, Surp Grigor Lusavorich is always going to be an Armenian Saint, Armenia is always going to be a Christian Nation, and your little proxy baptisms are always going to be an insult to the world and yourselves.

We appreciate your recognition of the Armenian Genocide, but as Hellektor pointed out, Armenian Nation does not need another divide, you are better off going to Turkey to convert and proxy baptize...

Jehovah's Witnesses Not Banned in Armenia

I just remembered (unless I'm mistaken) that some time ago the Jehovah's witnesses was registered and they were free to operate in Armenia, so I don't understand your accusations and exaggerations.
It seems to me you are one of the following:
          I. You are uninformed, which makes you a prejudiced person;
II. You are a Turk impersonating as a Jehovah's witness to throw accusations at Armenians.
Check your sources first and accuse people of EXTERMINATION afterwards.

We will succeed because God has promised that "This good news of the kingdom (of God) will be preached unto all the inhabit earth and then the end shall come: Matthew 24:14

If you want to follow what Bible says you need to spread the Gospel to ones that never heard of it and not challange the worlds first Christian nation

even if theres a genocide .. armenians cant request anything from my folks

"The ICTJ concluded in a 2003 report that the massacres of Ottoman Armenians technically fit the definition of genocide set by a 1948 UN convention. However, the ICTJ report also stressed that the 1948 Convention’s provisions did not allow "retroactive application" to events that occurred prior to the treaty’s adoption. Thus, Armenians could not use the convention to claim any material compensation from modern-day Turkey."

I don't think we care much about YOUR folks.

We have every right to claim everything the Turkish government took from us, and we will. Your folks on the other hand, can drink their turkish coffee in the red fez and piraye all day long, for all I care.

No reason for you to say it again, we've heard your lame excuses a thousand and one times before. Besides, when someone is not honest, there's no sense in you repeating tired, old LIES.

i advise u to make some research about genocide policy of the UN .. ull find out that UN cant force any1 to pay compensation for a genocide has been made b4 1951 ..
Since when does the UN = International Court of Justice??????????

nvm i made some research for u about genocide policy of the UN ..
Then you would know that the UN recognizes the Armenian Genocide.

It did so in August 1985 - The U.N. sub-commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, adopts a report on genocide, which declares that the extermination of the Armenians in 1915 is an example of genocide. It is the first time that the recognition of the Armenian Genocide is stated in an official U.N. document

"The ICTJ report makes it clear that although the term “genocide” defined by the 1948 convention is applicable to the bloody events of 1915, the Armenians can not use it to lay “legal, financial or territorial claim” to Turkey. “The Genocide Convention contains no provision mandating its retroactive application,” it explains."

                      source: http://www.armenialiberty.org/armeni...97A185F525.asp
The ICTJ is a mere "human rights" organization with no authority to make any such deduction or determination that even though they say it's Genocide, there will be no punishment. In fact, that organization was called in by TARC and we all know that TARC was acting on behalf of the US State Department. Funny you quoted this garbage twice, and both times you conveniently left off the TARC connection. It is in the interest of the axis of evil aka the Phantom Alliance to get turkey off scott free and it's even the turkish government Plan B, admit without any consequences.

The ICTJ was as much an "independent study commission" as was TARC. They even have a history of having stuck their big noses into the situation in Yugoslavia. They get funds from such organizations as:

                      The Konrad Adenauer Foundation
                      Carnegie Corporation of New York
                      Ford Foundation
                      Horace W. Goldsmith Foundation
The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
                      Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
                      Rockefeller Brothers Fund
                      The Rockefeller Foundation

All are organziations with questionable objectives funded by private individuals, mostly Americans and chosen tribe. So sorry, your ICTJ is NOTHING. Just like TARC is nothing.
