Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I am one of the direct descendants of Volga Bulgars, belonging to Karachay-Balkar (Bolgar) Turks. In that sense, my ancestors has been in Caucasus, Khazar, and Transaxonia long before any other was around, and we are still around, so I wonder with whom you mixed for centuries having known the fact that you do not speak the Turkic language anymore.

I think this guy is a Kurd named Bulgarian. Otherwise, what does a Bulgarian do with Turks? This must be a Kurdish tactics, to show all neighbours as enemy of Turkey. I suppose they knew there is nothing to do against Turkish govern. They are hoping help from the others for PKK. And they surely knew that if Turkey joins EU, PKK will not exist in Turkey anymore with EU membership.
I will read the forum rules and not post in Turkish! I will read the forum rules and not post in Turkish! I will read the forum rules and not post in Turkish! Simple. I am a Slav as the majority of us are. The Bulgars you speak of were only small in number when they arrived in Bulgaria. This is ironically the same as the Tatars that arrived in Azerbaijan and the Turks that arrived in modern day Turkey.

I am a pure Slav and I can say proudly that I have no Turkic blood in me.

Well maybe when you Turks stop trying to create a demographic majority in my nation then I will stop hating you.

The PKK or another organisation that promotes the independence of the Kurds will always exist because there are always going to be Kurds wanting to fight of their right for self determination. Kurdish terrorism will stop once Northern Kurdistan is granted independence. The EU wont even allow Turkey within its ranks if the violence caused by Kurds due to their understandable frustrations does not stop.

Not really but trying to explain people that nations revolve around common and dominant culture of the geography of the country for three pages is tiresome. It becomes a little annoying when the person who makes the claim still trys to tell me who I am, where I come from. About race, come tell it to 58 million Turkish people in Turkey, we are a nation and other people may think what they like. (I disregarded Kurdish people in terms of number)

I am sorry but the Turkish people that live in Bulgaria are your problem. As Kurdish people that live in Turkey is our problem. As to independence of so called northeren Kurdistan,south-eastern Turkey, if Kurd's majority really wish independence, let them have it. I have become so tired of them, rebel, rebel, rebel- breed, breed, breed- do not produce, do not produce, do not produce...
Though still the Kurdish people's party HADEP takes only %5 of the votes while Kurds form %15-20 of our country. Anyways we are a people, Turkish speaking, Turkish thinking and therefore Turkish. But if you really think we are not a race, nation then let us no be for your black eyes Bulgarian. If that will please you or solve your problems in Bulgaria itself, then so be it my Slavic friend.

even fevrent PKK supporters have no idea about having a seperate state. Majority of HADEP/DEP/DET supporters are not supporting seperation, 90% of that 5% vote is just reactionary vote.

These guys still see thing thru the filter of 19th century fashion nationalism, they remained pretty much backwards.

I know Bulgarians in my city, they are very much friendly with Turks, and Bulgaria as a country is one of the trusted neighbours of Turkey. They really remained in past cant move a bit further.

Volga Bulgars are one of the first Turkish branch/tribe that embraced Islam, and still Tatars of Volga call themselves as Bulgars.

"We speak Mixish, we think Mixish, our culture is Mixish, and above all we say we are Mixish therefore we are Mixish."

This thing of being a "TURK" comes only from 1923, there was an ID-crisis before that, and now it's being hided by the government of yours. Not one of your grandparents knew they were "turkish", because there is no such thing as "Turkish". Mix does exist. Have you ever asked yourself why there are 100 sorts of people that call themselves "Turk", a blonde calls himself a "Turk", a blackhaired one does the same, a bigeyed does, a bigbearded one does, a negro does, a redhead does, this is never seen elsewhere in the World. They all listen to their government like sheep and believe this thing of being "Turkish".

America, China and Russia are one of few countries where you can see such form of nationhood. And no, the term Turk came loooonggg before 1923, I know it you know it. Anyway we are Turks in fact Kerkuk-Kurdistane but just like Bulgarian for your black eyes we are mixish(Really what an idiot) ....
