Turkish identity have always been there. Certain jobs and positions in Palace and certain govermental duties have always been given to Turks in Ottoman time. I dont need to mention about Seljuk's which is obvious.

Just two examples, Fatih Sultan Mehmet have sent a Ferman-i Humayun, to Uygur Turks back in 15th century. During Abdulhamid Han's period, Eastern Turkistan(Uygur Region) was part of Ottoman State, eventhough it was symbolic, for 20+ years Eastern Turkistan was part of Ottomans.
And one more thing contemporary Turkish flag was used by Ottomans.

To Cut in short Turkish identity have always been there, it was not invented out of blue moon.

If Kurds had established an empire they would have been mixed with other nations like us. All those problems are because of our imperial past.

    Do you understand me now?

And this is what I want to say too, the people in central asia were themselves already a mix of sino-tibeti-siberian mongol genetics. And on their way to what now called Turkey is just a mix. Actually you don't really have ancestors who were Turkish. BTW: Why did they call you Turkish? Couldn't they have chosen something else? Like Bananaramian people?
The country 's name is already named to the most stupid bird alive.

@TurQ, you don't need to give me Mixish sources

The Kurds will become roughly 50% of Turkeys population by 2050.

The Turks in Turkey are truely doomed.

No it means that the Kurds are going to get Anatolia and the Turks are going to get western Turkey. It also means that more Turks are going to emigrate into Europe. The Turks will probably decide to make Bulgaria part of the new Turkey.

Tell your facist Turk brothers to forget about Bulgaria. Unless they want the Turks of Bulgaria to face alot of troubles.
