Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

TurQ you are an apologist for the view of denying (or minimizing the extent) of the Armenian genocide.

If not please show me sources (unbiased) about Armenians murdering Turkish civilians. I think you cant. Your holding on false hope of some day the Armenians will accept that they also did alot of bad to the Turks. But guess what? This is not going to happen.

Absolutely, and something has been done as you can see by that members status.

I'm only going to ask you one more time bell, if you see a violation, have a problem with another member use the "report" utility under the username of the person in the post window that you are reporting to let us know about it, refrain from doing so in the public forum. If you don't understand how to use the report utility PM me and I'll explain it to you.

New Archival Documents from Police Forces of IStanbul(1914-1916)

This is in TUrkish, newly published, the document is disclosed by Istanbul POlice regarding to the events between 1914-1916.

One of the document mentions the massacre of 2,000 Muslims in Bitlis by Armenians and Russian Cossacks.

The archival documents should be critisized or analyzed by Armenian Historians.

It is in Turkish, I give the link

              We're not buying!
Its impossible this documents have never been seen for 91 years
in any case if they havent been seen why hide them all this years?
This is just another gov. propaganda since they are exposed and losing the war of public opinion they resort to trick the public once more with these (before seen and )selected documents from the "secret" archives

POlice Archives are opened new, the other Ottoman archives were opened in mid 1980s, and there were few scholars who were able to conduct research on it, so archival study in Turkey is pretty new.

The autenticity of the archives can easily be judged by historians, so this issue can easily be handled. They could easily be examined unlike Adoyan's telegrams. One issue is that the document is selected among others, so all of the documents should be opened without any restrictions for both sides in order to have a scholarly analysis.

I m not saying that that document alone means everything, but it has some information thats it.

These are for 1914-1916 related to Istanbul events. not all of them are translated and I cant guarantee 100% of accuracy for the translation thats why I gave the Turkish link

The word iashe is puzzling me, but as I understand for those revolutionaries whose families are poor, to be supported during their imprisonment and 10,000 Kurush has been sent for that purpose

"Gönderilen tahsisat-ı mesturenin (örtülü ödenek) Ermeni komitacılarından fakir olanlarının nezarette bulundukları müddetçe iaşesine sarf olunduğundan Halep vilayetine 10 bin kuruşluk yeni havale yapılması"

Dental doctor Daroid Jerrahpiyan and his dad is allowed to go Izmit, until the peace is restored(from where? it is not mentioned these are quotes)

" Diş tabibi Daroid Cerrahpiyan’ın babasıyla birlikte asayişin sağlanacağı zamana kadar İzmit’e gidişine izin verilmesi. "

After Mihran Darijian's acquittal he was allowed to return back(from Aleppo) to Istanbul to his family

"İstanbul’dan Halep’e sevk edilen Mihran Darıcıyan’ın suçsuz bulunduğu anlaşıldığından ailesiyle İstanbul’a dönüşüne izin verilmesi."

Gulehman the son of Oseb is allowed to go to Istanbul and register to the school of veterinary.

" Baytar mektebine kayıt yapmak için Dersaadete gitmek isteyen Ermeni Gülehman oğlu Oseb’e izin verilmesi."

Armenians acting along with Russians summoned Muslims civilians in mosques including the chldren and burned them. In Bitlis Armenians along with Russian Cossacks killed 2000 Muslims.

" Ruslarla hareket eden yerli Ermenilerin Şıtak’ta Müslüman ahaliyi çoluk çocuk demeden camilere doldurup yaktıkları. Bitlis’te Ermeni çetelerle Kazakların 2 bin Müslüman’ı boğazlamaları."

Vertabet Komidas is allowed to go Vienna for medical assistance.

" Vertabet Komidas’ın tedavi için Viyana’ya gitmesine izin verilmesi."

A report ragarding to activities of revolunary Armen Pastirmajiyan and the money tht was collected in US to be destruted to volunteer fighters and a report from Bucharest regarding to this.

" Ermeni ihtilalcı Armen Pasdırmacıyan’ın Ermenilerin Kafkasya’daki faaliyetleri ve Amerika’da toplanan paraların Ermeni gönüllülere verilmesine dair Bükreş’ten gelen rapor."

Convert or not women or men no Armenian is allowed to move(from a city to another?) without any permission
" Mühtedi ya da gayri mühtedi kadın ve erkek bütün Ermenilerin izin almaksızın bir yerden başka bir yere gitmesinin yasak olduğu.

A murdered Armenian women to be buried and the matter be investigated about the responsible

" Öldürülmüş bulunan bir Ermeni kadının defnedilerek failleri hakkında tahkikat yapılaması."
