Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I am sorry I had to resurrect this thread. I have to say it's one of the better ones, and brings back the memory of the day when ck and I first joined, and Jahan started a fight as usual...
Anon blessed us with some very enlightening points and flames came to our support. Badrjan displayed his mastery in one liners he's so famous for.

Vienna on July 25, 2004 - International Meeting

      Hi guys,
Here is the expected meeting. Turkey will present the facts using scientific methods and archives collected from various countries (15 thousand documents) which took more than a year. If Armenian community attends to the semposium then world will see whether the facts presented by Armenians are the truth or just falsified facts, if Armenians dont attend to the meeting than I guess world will think that Armenians did not have any official documents to prove their case and this issue will be closed forever..

      for more information;

      regards

Turkey never shows up with any facts at any symposiums held by Armenians. This means that Turkey doesn't have anything to say, right?

Please, just give it up. It is a historical truth, and you will be doing greater good to your country by finally accepting it then by running away from it.

Don't hate a Turk because he is a Turk. You have to look at individuals. People are driven by a force. A political force turned those Turks against armenians and filled their heads w/ propaganda. If you start hating the whole nation for what a few have done and are willing to kill them all what do you think they are going to think of us. They will think we are a bunch of lowlife hooligans that deserved to be killed. While if we try to make something better for ourselves and show them that they butchered intellectuals they will regret it. I think lately there has been more activity on the genocide. But the turks see it as world wide propoganda. If they don't change their way of thinking we will have to or they will never accept the fact.

turks are very uneducated people in general.
Some like the armenians, some are fed up with Panturkish propaganda and are racist.
Actually a little kid who had a turkish parent had the same piano teacher as me, and when i was playing at a consert, i was usually the last one or teh second last one to play, my mother told me everytime it was getting my turn to play, he /and his company -parents, would leave the "consert hall"! Anyway my mother told me this. I nebver noticed it myself. I think it had to to with me beeing armenian, what else could it be..
              am i that provocative?

With all do respect, I must propose a question here: there already was a genocide and we established that. What is the "argument" for or about? When you say "argument" that means it is still undecided and needs investigation, when clearly that is not the case. Now, the only reason why these fanatical cowards we call "Turks" refuse to accept the existence of a genocide ever occurring is mainly because of their inhumane feelings towards the Armenians.

If they admit to committing such a heinously criminal act then that means all of the wealth and richness that Turkey thrives upon today has to be transmitted directly over to where it rightfully belongs: Armenia. The Turks (where ever located) will also have to pay blood money$ to Armenians just about everywhere (plus the fertile lands back), the same way the Germans of Germany are placing all of their profits towards the Jews, ever since the Nuremburg trials where the entire Nazi camps were tried and convicted of committing a war crime against the Jews.

In addition to that, Turkey has really forced itself to assimulate into Western culture i.e. Western White European culture. They have transformed their entire alphabet from Turkic to Latin, in a desperate and lousy attempt to "Westernize," even though they are Asian.

I think Armenians should first learn from that tactic of reorganization and doing what is properly necessary at the right place and time rather than inducing more heat amongst their own communities by pulling up an obvious skewed biased source. For what? To rev all of us up? The traitors will never concur with your point which is thus why they should perish.
I'm sorry that I was such an idiot.

Just a side note: ".coms" are all controversially subjective sites, regardless of whatever topic is being discussed. We must learn how to do the proper thing at the right place and time in the nick of time. If you are all worried about this miniscule article about Armenians, you are too late. They are already publishing their own fiction and I had the disdain of reading their misconceived prose about our entire people calling us "middle eastern" and not even mentioning us as being the primary sources of Aryanism and other crucial historical events.

Their acts are all facades that naive Armenians like you would only fall for.

If the nincompoops would refrain from that small false number of "1.5 million" that would be most appreciated on my logical Armenians' parts. It was OVER 1.5 million, get your facts straight. The Jews now a days say "6 million Jews died in the holocaust in Nazi Germany." When clearly the evidence and facts that they twisted around shows it was 6 million CASUALTIES includings Jews. Hitler during the holocaust killed not just Jews but Catholics, Homosexuals and many other Armenians.
