Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    Marx has been discredited?

By who? The Economist in Britain and the financial times still quote him proving he was correct.

im still waiting for some sources. i initially beleived that you would be interesting to discuss with, however it seems u just make petty slogans and statements along with childish jabs...dissapointing

Oh, you really don't get it do you? You see I did a whole section on Marx wrote a whole research paper, and next semester I have a class on Marxist Theory and History.

Marxism is based on false premises and he himself made erroneous claims he didn't think about. More importantly, it is influenced by thinkers such as Adam Weishupt, who created the Bavarian Illuminati. They then formed the League of the Just, and ironically Mr. Lenin, a certain Vladimir Illych Ulyanov was in it as well.

Oh wow, that's comical. You're "not gonna believe" me? So this is essentially about belief systems and not objective analysis eh? We move about by faith, not science. We don't weigh in or analyze what we are going to accept as a belief, we just accept it on the basis that it sounds good and appealing in theory.

Then you go on to accuse me of a "bourgeoise lecturer" lol. You yourself have probably used that term so much you've forgotten its original meaning and intent. You've overused it to the point of meaninglessness.

Geee, with my income of rocks and leaves, and living in a xxxxty apartment, barely paying for school, wow I am really a bourgeoise. LOL! You are comical.

Actually, the reason schools are expensive is because of government interferences in the private sector, setting wages and fixed prices, taxing, they all drive up prices.

Whoever said I moan about paying? It might not be what I like but doable. And even the current crises in prices exist in the first place because of the central government interferences. But if you must know irony first hand, I go to a "public university" and I pay. It has all the workings of a socialistic entity, except the price tag. It has created such a beaurocracy, that well, basically it's a life of its own.

In any event, I have yet to see you address the thread in the other forum regarding Marxism. You didn't run away I hope.

The simple fact of the matter is that when a socialist state is initially set up people are overcome with the propoganda and develop a fervor and are actually commited to the work and the nation and the welfare of all. After a certain period of time people become disillusioned with the system and they are tempted by their nature for gain, and more and they lose their dedication and self-interest overcomes them as it eventually overcomes every one of us, they are no longer dedicated to the state, the people their brothers and sisters. My own father related to me how in the factory where he worked noone had any initiative to work and people did their own thing. My father for example built an elaborate beatiful birds cage that is still in our family, while he was supposed to be working and this was the norm. The pure socialist state can only function for a limited amount of time and will eventually crumble due to our own nature.

-First off, in a workers state, the propaganda is controlled by the workers, not the beurocrats as occured in the Soviet Union

-Secondly, i suppose your so brainwashed that you forget the constant work the bourgoise channels broadcast, is this not propaganda? My friend it is, and it seems that your another victim of it. How many times was it mentioned that the Taliban was put in force by US imperialism? How many times is it mentioned that US imperialism props up arab dictatorships such as Saddam? How many times has it mentioned that in Iran in the first revolution Western Imperialism bought down the democratically elected Mosadeq? The same question concerning Allende? THe murder of Allende was committed with the 100% backing of US imperialism? how many times has CNN shown us this?
dont be blind, your better than that.....i hope

                    - What your describing accurately is of the Soviet Union where the beurocracy didnt give a xxxx about production, but rather lining their own deep pockets...

"My father for example built an elaborate beatiful birds cage that is still in our family, while he was supposed to be working and this was the norm. The pure socialist state can only function for a limited amount of time and will eventually crumble due to our own nature. "
                    - Not down to nature. Down to the fact that the beurocrats payed people either way.

The present government, or "State" doesn't help anyone. Few realize that the reason why all the major corporations are flocking to China, is because prices are too expensive here. How does that happen? By government setting fixed wages, essentially setting a certain price below which you cannot pay. That socialistic idea is what is causeing these government created monopolies to go elsewhere.

Again, its a bourgoise beurocracy, how can you compare this with a workers democracy?
You are re-stating the same rehashed arguments, not by proving a point across, but simply stating "that is a bourgoise beurocracy". Unfortunately, dialogue doesn't work that way. "Bourgoise" is an outdated term, which doesn't describe the present ruling class, you probably forget that the term which you use like tic tacs, was essentially referred to the middle class. That's just silly.

Well, I have finals, you don't see me running away. You ran away from the Marxism thread I started in the other forum. Go back there.
