Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Yes absolutely, when we have the Wilson Arbitration finalized than it shall be.

The conflicts in the Caucaus are wished to be solved by the oil tycoons, they really don't care what happens to the people involved as long as the oil keeps flowing.
How true and how unfortunate. And they claim that they are democratic. Yeah, right. Democratic by name only or to fill their bulging pockets?

Israel and Iran come to mind.
There is one huge difference. In their case, Iran didn't come and in time took over their anscestratl lands nor Iran nearly completely annihilated Israelites.

You're so worried about the turks having any kind of loss of lands and what about Armenian lands that belonged to the Armenians for centuries then the turks came from Mongolia, sat on our lands and then after having us as obedient and hard working citizens of turkey they have in whole annihilated us?

They have to pay reparations for the Genocide as they made Armenians completely and in whole to be parished from the face of the earth. And the price of the reparations shall be the just return of the Wilson Arbitration!!!!!

I am clear but you don't get what I'm saying. Such things can be only accomplished when Turkey has something far greater of importance to lose than Eastern Anatolia or whatever you call it. Is there a such thing, not currently. Is getting engaged into a war a greater lose than Eastern Anatolia, it is not either.

Turkey will not acknowledge any genocide if it leads to lose strategic lands, so simple. We are not talking here what is just or unjust or say it good or bad. Any country will care her interests as long as it does not cause death of too many innocent people. Republic of Turkey does not cause something like that.

In other words, Turkey loses nothing by not acknowledging a genocide, then why should it? Please do not talk about what is good and fair. Humanity can talk about fairness when US stops killing 1M people in every war they fight. They did this btwn 2003-2009.

Wilson armenia is nothing more than a dream. Trabzon never had armenians majority and people of trabzon has no relation with armenians or their culture. But It was in wilson armenia.

By the way, I am from trabzon.

That is what they do not get. I admit that too many Armenians lived in that land together with Turks and Kurds. I admit that Turkey did not care for the cultural heritage which is too sad and I use every opportunity to voice this fact in my country to my friends, people I know or in any political spectrum I am engaged. This, however, is not a reason to give up some land. There is no land in middle east or in the Caucasus that was given or taken peacefully. Is not this the reality?

Turkey will not give up too.

Some of you guys and ladies think that the only way to get back Wilson Armenia is to use some opportunity in which Turkey is really in trouble. They are completely right. There is no other way of doing this. When this is intended to be done, there is a high probability of living with its consequences.

Besides this, I wish Armenia give up her territorial claims from Turkey and Turkey uses every way to ease Armenian citizens life to visit their historical lands, I hope my country restorates lots of Armenian churches, houses, buildings. I wish Turkey makes it really simple for Armenians to visit Ararat, Ani and everything else you are proud of. I wish Turkey becomes courageous enough to let her children learn where Armenians lived throughout their history, what sort of sad events passed between two nations and etc. I wish Turkey lets Armenians to break up its isolation and freely trade with whereever they want by using the routes from Turkey. But, this can not happen without giving up territorial claims.

I also want to say that I do not have any negative feelings for you at all excluding those who have hatred against all Turks but the thing is I am a citizen of another country and I do care my country's interests as you do yours.
