But that is how the State remains in control by producing ever more fear objects. You fear this you fear that, creating a myriad of laws, so that no matter what you do, you cannot help but break a law.

As for the reason why the U.S. has a big crime rate, well that ignores an integral part of the U.S. and its "diversity" by cramming and forcing many different cultures and peoples with differing beliefs and a country that is based on fear and the production of fear, the millions of laws in existence and the welfare state that breeds crime, so literally you cannot not do anything that won't be a crime you find yourself a criminal no matter what, even if its protecting your property with a gun. There are many factors that go into it.

If you need to pump 6 bullets out per second to defend yourself then you are a xxxxty shot and don't belong anywhere near a firearm. The individual you like so much can't wipe their butt without leadership. No one does anything on their own, except Ted Kazinksy. Your hero.

Yes, I do intend to read it soon. I was very intrigued by the whole thing. I just started reading "downsize this" two days ago, but interrupted it with the book I was hoping to get for Christmas, by the Greek ambassador to Armenia.

I will let you know how I find the book.

as for knowing how to use a gun or a situation, i agree fully with you.

having a gun for more power is not always a good thing, but in other situations it is.

it matters on the person who is controlling it, and for what reason etc

Like I said, who are you to decide what an individual can or can't have? Once again they may be a xxxxty shot but that is not up to you. You get your own.

But then again, it is because of people like you that the State is now a life unto itself, and because of you that more laws would be created. So what law would you create now <Mr. Eggplant>?

Don't fall for that Micheal Moore crap. What was funny to me that he compared the number of shootings in Canada with the number of shooting in the U.S. which is silly since Canada only has 24 million people in it. That's less people than my tri-state area. And the more even distribution of income is probably a factor. I want to see the % of fatalities from guns compare to the total population.

Oh and knowing how to pull the trigger is not knowing how to use a gun. When you are talking about self defense we are taking about taking another persons life, its easy to say that we can do it but when its time to do can you.

The problem is not just guns. There have always been guns in America. The problems are the people, the American culture. Take Canada for example they have guns but they do not have the gun problem that we have in the US.

There are laws now against such things, yet they happened didn't they? So what was the point of a law, the kids won't understand that. Besides, what you mentioned is somethign that is so rare that I wouldnt worry about it. How many people have died by kids throwing grenades via the window? I am far more afraid of the State having guns than kids. Your logic makes no sense.
