I'm curious, though. Have any of you guys watched the series Mad Men? And what are your thoughts about it? It portrays American professional and personal lives at about the time of the cultural revolution.

(Oh, but then, again, some of us are allergic to "popular" culture, even if it is of the caliber of a show like Mad Men or The Wire.)
So the family construct threatens the premise of women? Bearing children and taking care of them also threatens this? Feminists also desire to bring perverted rape cases against men like the one in Sweden against Assange? We can see where the Feminist agenda takes us. Rather than fighting for "equality" they just oppress men.

    Haven't heard of it.

The best thing you could do is to read some books and articles about feminism because it is clear to me that you don't have a real understanding of the movement's philosophy or evolution.

You can have a theoretical philosophy, but what the actually agenda entails and what it actually brings can be very different. Similar to Communism.

That's why you should also read critiques of feminism, to get a better idea of the different directions in which the central ideas have evolved in.

I'm really struck by the resentment of some posters toward books and learning. Strange, considering books have been such a significant part of Armenian culture.

I'd rather take a taser to the family j3wels.

I am happy to say I went through 10 years of post-highschool edumecation without having to touch books. I too would definitely rather zap Kanada with a taser than read books.

I used to like reading until the education system forced crap like "catcher in the rye", "to kill a mocking bird" and "diary of anne frank" on me. Sh!t, like I care what problems other people had while I was born without a country/nation.

Funny how big bad feminist doesn't need a man but is offering advice on how men should court women.

Doesn't it become exhausting to be so cynical and to assume to worst of everyone all the time?

I'm not assuming anything... just merely pointing out observations. I hope she understands by now that it's not personal... she seems intelligent enough.

This part is interesting... however, there is reward or punishment after this life. Perhaps not for you, directly. You pay for your sins in this life and what you don't pay for, your children (or those of others) will inherit.
