Dear Diary, (just to clear things up, you ARE a Diary, the male species just prefers to call you a Journal so that they feel that their "masculinity" is intact)
Anywho...things havent been so great last two weeks, and things arent going to be looking so great the next two weeks.
I just wanted to share some good news in my life with the forumers...and the good news is that I am going to Russia this summer . Initially I wasn't supposed to go, but then I got lucky. Going to Russia isn't all that great to me, I mean of course I would want to go see this once powerful country and all, I would still rather go to Armenia. I'm basically going there to see my relatives, most of whom live in Russia now. I am counting down the days (june 12). I havent seen them in 12 years...and I barely remember some of them. I am so so so excited. I figured I'd share some good news since we only read sad, depressing news in this thread.
Dear Diary
I'm fine today don't u worry! Plus I'm cutting my hair tomorrow yeay!!! I like long hair but I kept it for so long that I'm crying out for a change. Though my friends are suggesting not to cut it so much still I want it short. I'm so excited..
PS: I hope I look nice
"An angel runs
Thru the sudden light
Thru the room
A ghost preceeds us
A shadow follows us
And each time we stop
We fall"

ciao,
Inessa
Inna, I'm truly happy for you. 12 years must be killer. I completely know how you feel, since it was 7 years before I got to see MY loved ones after I left Armenia. It was quite an emotional experience. I remember how I was unable to contain myself before the trip. I would lay awake at nights fantasizing about it. And I couldn't believe that I was actually going back until I set foot in Armenia. Throughout the whole plane ride(s), I thought I was dreaming.
