Anybody own a laptop

I have an AMD Athlon on my PC. It was cheaper than Pentium and has been working for 3 years with no issues.

Well, apparently me and the eggplant have something in common.

Dell laptop, i bascially have the same experiance with mine.. its been very very reliable and with a simple 32 meg video card it does wonders with rendering and autocad 2004.. I have not so good of a battery life though.. 6 hours??? no way!!!>. i wish.. i get barely two hours.. but i would definately suggest a dell for both value, and quality.. and they are very good with customer service.. though they are heavier than others and a little less attractive maybe.. but its very good in function

I just got a new HP Pavilion computer, not a lab top. It feels good to get a new computer It has the works on it. Im pretty happy with it.

I have the two extended batteries ... one main one and another one that plugs into where the CD player would go ... I can swap in the cd drive when I need it. It's really heavy this way but I don't mind the workout.

Is laptop RAM the same as PC RAM? Laptop RAM is a lot more expensive. I'm guessing there's a difference.....
