Since I'm probably going to have to take a foreign language class in college, which do you recommend? I don't want to learn Spanish because I live in Southern California, where it's hardly ever spoken at all. I'm thinking French...

Things to consider:
Depending on what you wanna go into, maybe some language would be more benefitial than others?
Look up which languages are most used around the world...Chinese is a good one to know in terms of many aspects.
Do you wanna stay where you are? Do you have a place you wanna live some day?
I am studying French at the university level (its my minor) along with Russian (which I know already) and Armenian. I am sure they will be useful in the future to me, but I chose them based on personal taste. If you like French, and you think you will enjoy it, choose it.
