The metaphor of history as sliced baloney never occurred to me but, now that you mention it, it does seem to explain your approach: just say "baloney!" when you can't settle on a rational response. On the other hand, I do value your vigorous efforts to bring a certain class of Armenians to their senses, which this forum has made me see is something sorely needed.
