That is true. Compared to the rest of the world, gasoline here is so cheap I don't know why all these people are whining. This has been said for years.

...the process is not so 'evident.' Most people take fossil fuels for granted. People know they are 'non-renewable' but don't REALLY think about what that means.

If you do not read business or economics news, you wouldn't understand. My elaboration wouldn't mean anything.

Besides most environmentalists do not read The Economist, The Financial Times, Cato Institute, Mises.org, etc. They read whatever environmentalist sites report as the business news.

You're right, at least about me reading your finance sources. I don't regularly read that. I WILL understand. I do follow global finance, but not by the sources you cite--and not though environmentalist reports, either.

Well, reading the sources I cited, this is nothing new. Years ago even before the gas prices rising this high, it was still acknowledged that this place has the cheapest prices.
