I don't have too many rules but I tend not to change dictionary definitions. If you want to call that "my rules", then ok, that's my rules (I don't think it's unreasonable to ask that words mean what they are supposed to mean). Like when I am talking about promiscuous girls and one that has 3 boyfriends, I shouldn't have to elaborate that yes there is in fact sex going on in these relationships. But ok, in case it was unclear, yah she had sex with 3 different boyfriends in college. They may or may not have been interleaved relationships (wasn't necessarily monogamous).

Well, someone puts the definitions in the dictionary and that's where we learn so if you're born into a society that is pre-defined and you haven't been exposed to anything else then you wouldn't know any different. Social laws and norms are much different than the laws of physics or mathematics.

Did she gain a lot of weight and marry a large man as well? These are important in assessing why the marriage was successful.
