Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

By the way, no one forces girls to be strippers or porn stars, certainly not "society". Morals begin at home, and any child, boy or girl, that comes from a defunct home where he she has not received proper moral backing on whats right and wrong, only after becomes a target of society. The home and family are where we are forged, not "society" at large.
And may I ask what is your family part of? Could it be the "Society" perhaps? My post directly addressed all of your key points, you just chose to ignore it. The responsibility of a woman to establish a unity that you emphasize so much, without acknowledging other causes of divorce, in which case you make men seem angelic and detached of any blame.

And women are forced, not all but many. I suggest you read the papers once in a while, the national and the international section. Women are bought, sold and enslaved in many other countries. And young women in the US are abused by their boyfriends which represent "GODS" to them, and forced into prostitution as a mean to save the relationship, which they as females must nurture.

are you people even reading these posts?? sheeesh! fine "he's a great guy the greatest there ever was!!" all this 'blind devotion' is amazing ....do all of you hold this high school mentality? geeeezzz!!

why don't you try to be a bit more objective and read the context and not flip back and forth to see who posted what!
        1. I am not a Psychology major.

        2. YOU'RE the one who is obviously blinded by subjectivity. I have read every post in this thread, yours and Baron's included. However, my post was based on the ideas in the posts, and not the authors. That is why I said I respect Baron very much, so far, meaning that he has not done anything yet (including the posts he wrote to you as a reply) to lose my respect for him.

Why, in God's green earth, do you assume that if someone chooses a home and family, over a mind numbing career of material utopia, that she is not intelligent or somehow nothing bot a mindless robot? Stop making silly assumptions, to all you women. You assume that only via a career is someone "educated" and on an intellectual quotient to then be liked by a man. I have news for you ladies. Men, especially men who want to settle down, do not like the independent, domineering career woman types, hence the divorce rate, hence why 'no good men left'. What you are describing is the modus operandi of the Statist-Capitalist system that requires everyone to be functioning drones. Moreover, it's the expensive lifestyle of California. I don't hear of people with the complains in other States, since it is not as hectice or costly to live there. But there is no question that it is your choice whether you want to raise your family, or be in a career. Choice is the key word, I was only referring the deleterious effects these changes have had on the family, that is all.

Well "DUH" we are part of society. That is obvious, don't you think? I was saying that who we are and who we are raised to be, begins at home, in the family. Children are a product of that family. When the family neglects those kids, then you have influences such as television or "society" being their guide.

By the way, I didn't say women had a choice in being stolen for slavery, that is an unfortunate thing we live with. I was referring to the adult industry. No one forces them to be a stripper or porn star. You blame me for making men seem angelic, which I did not do, knowing full well there are men who are not angelic, yet you try to intentionally paint men as the evil ones. It seems to me that what you're saying is to free girls, once and for all, from guilt for their actions, and to load that guilt onto the hapless male population, when initially you were talking about "2 to tango", since parents comprise of a mother and father, and if something is wrong with the family, you have a bad seeds, boy or girl. It seems you constantly contradict your position. So which is it?

              Respectfully

Who said anything about change? Why do you assume that this is about 'changing stances'. I certainly didn't state my views for any of you to change. I don't care. It's your life and your choices. But thanks for the air of rationality. Cheers.

OKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOW, LET'S SEE, DOES THIS LOOK LIKE YOUR PERSONAL PREFERENCE TO YOU?????!!!!!!!!! In the above statement you are no longer declaring your personal likes and dislikes, you are clearly generalizing all men, you act as if you are the representative of your gender. What is more, you yourself are tapping into a psychology role. Anon, for goodness sake, don't be a hypocrite, and stop denying and claiming that others are harping on you without any consideration for your opinion

Read my previous post, this is why I continue. He acts as a representative of his gender and then wonders why women are bothered by his own preference of his perfect partner. If those are his views, then so be it, but to say that "ALL MEN" is plain arrogant and ridiculous!

Oh wow, compare that to all the generalizations you've made, I would be here all night chastising you. Stop with that hang up please. It's not becoming. If I were to chastise you constantly for all your generalizations, and criticize you the same you the same way you do to me, you wouldn't like it, yet why do you bother with a "chauvinist" "narrow minded" person like me?
