Reasons why men cheat

Men cheat because they want to.
Women cheat because their significant other may already have cheated, is cheating, or will eventually cheat.

It is very obvious that men and women cheat for different reasons. Women do NOT cheat as often as men do. In fact, I think the stats on that include women @25% and men @35%. This was a study done on married couples and does not include unreported cases. When a man cheats, it's for sex, and usually sex alone. When a woman cheats, regardless of the reason for it, she usually ends up having feelings for the other guy. It's sad, but we're more emotional when it comes to sex. We can't simply just "do it" and be done with it, which, in my opinion, is the reason why we're in such a mess!!!

if the guy i was with cheated on me- i would just cut off any communication wit hhim- i dont care what his reasoning is- he cheated- that's it-- if he cant stay satisfied by one person and has to go around screwing other people- than that's just not relationship material-he might as well just go screw around anyway and not even consider a relationship...

I like what you are saying. But you should consider your man. You should somehow inquire about him being satisfied in the relationship. Maybe you suck at satisfying men. Maybe you dont. I dont know, but eitherway, I believe firmly that their is no excuse for cheating. People who cheat whether its physically or emotionally (having feelings for someone else) are just too immature to be a man/woman and break up the relationship.

After reading more of your comments and thinking about this longer I thINK this is such crap. I totally agree with all of you but what the hell happened to Family Values and tradition in this country. Im sick of hearing I cheated because of this and that. Making stupid excuses to get away with it. its such B.S.

A person who cheat only cares about themselves and having orgasms......many many orgasms......nothing wrong with that but hey who am I to judge.

I always thought that men cheat because they are not fully satisfied with their current relationship, want someone/something new and different, or just simply don't see it (cheating/lying) as being wrong. The last one is the one that bugs me. It is wrong. If you're not happy in your current relationship then get out of it before you really hurt your girlfriend. Breaking up with a woman is much better than cheating on her because if she finds out you cheating on her, she will feel embarrassed, ashamed, and foolish.
Fellas, please don't cheat.

Unfortunately, it's easy to remove a person from your life, especially if they live far away, it's much MUCH harder to get rid of the lingering thoughts and sadness even more than a year after the fact.
