My post wasn't meant for anyone specific. Please understand that I was talking about people in general, who like to judge.

Everyone judges, dear that is human nature. Everyone sins. However, not everyone repents or realizes the wrongs they have committed.

I think all the religious types in here were pretty clear and explicit in their posts about how everyone has the ability, the free will to choose his or her own actions and nothing was forced down anyone's throat. But my guess is, the people who usually accuse religion of "judging me" and "telling me what to do", are running out of excuses so they will use it again and again.

I don't believe that repenting can completely wash you clean of any sin you may have commited. Everyone has to pay for their mistakes in some form. That's the basis of Christianity. I am simply saying that I will not allow a HUMAN to tell me that what I'm doing is "wrong" or "right" by any standard.

Oh yes it can dear, all you have to do is genuinely feel the guilt, the remorse and ask for forgiveness, and work on yourself. Apparently you do not understand Christianity.

As far as saying you will not allow a human to tell you what you are doing is wrong, is simply absurd. All our lives we are told by our parents,that we are doing this or that thing wrong, but where do our parents get the morals they teach us? They certainly don't make it up as they go along.

I was responding to the people who criticize religion by often bringing forth the argument that religious types are all about controlling other people and telling them what to do with their lives or bodies.

As far as that quote you made.....

Sometimes when people point out your faults in life, it teaches you not to make the same mistakes and in turn makes you a better person. As someone also said above, judging is something people do. It's part of human nature. Unfortunately we all have to deal with it.

As far as your stance on this topic....

The person who accepts you for who you are (regardless of your past mistakes) will be the one person who'll give you true love. There are guys out there that don't mind a non-virgin, so don't worry about it. You don't have to get all defensive on this topic.
