See, your own words prove what I said was true. That you seem to be blind to it (so blind that you actually posted the above) is even more proof if it were needed. "I am a true Armenian and thus must always be correct, and those who disagree with me are either not true Armenians or are non-Armenians and so shouldn't be allowed to be here."

    Indeed.

It was not a criticism but a polite request to improve the forum.

I think you (all) do a wonderful job, please keep it up!!

As for spam, perhaps that be solved by having better registration procedures - perhaps making it in several stages, and with a delay in posting rights for several days after registering.

I am not against being criticised.
I am not against free speech or opinion.

I can see something which you obviously cannot see.
Even if you could see, you couldn't care less as a non Armenian who is frequently hostile to Armenians ( at times justified but not always).

My point is, there is a big difference between starting a ( derogatory ) thread, leaving it as a hook for others to debate AND
expressing an opinion whatever that may be.

It is noticeable these threads were started by individuals who have only a few postings and disappear from the scene.
I see this as a sinister behaviour, without loosing my sense of the importance of free speech.

Bell, we've considered this as well, however spam has not really been such a problem as to necessitate this sort of action which would also decrease legitimate new registrations.

It's really easy to criticize, isn't it? Please refer to earlier posts regarding overreacting.

Actually, I have been at a work conference out of town and STILL DELETING SPAM AT LEAST 2x a day. Sorry if I can't be on the forum deleting spam in the middle of the night so that you can have a more enjoyable experience at 4AM. You can suck it up and deal with it until I delete it at 7am the following morning.

What's more... last night was somewhat of a rarity. There was one jack@ss that made 60 posts of spam. That has never happened in the 7+ years I've been on the forum.
