A leader is not supposed to "manage' a crisis. They are supposed to take a moral and a ethical stand, because you lie down with swine, you'll get up smelling like pork chops.I will take a stand with anyone any race or creed, as long as its a moral and ethical stand (that seem to carry no currency no more).First thing we must do as a nation is to end (starting with ourselves) this prevailing cynicism, no matter what the odds are of success, defend our core values.
For a man of your age you have utterly failed to learn some basic lessons in life. Where on earth do you get the conclusion that a leader is not supposed to manage a crisis? Sometimes you do have to lie down with swine to get what you need-thats life! I seriously dought you could lead your way out of walmart based on your perceptions of leadership.
    Hayastan or Bust.

I think that a good national leader would be someone who is capable to understand the broad, long term consequences of his decisions (whether they are ethical/moral or not) and does not base his decisions simply on short term, often illusionary gains. Those who cannot understand the long term impacts are only remembered as traitors.

This should remind you of a few of the leaders we've had.
