Re: Armenia and the information war

They told me the general population ( Mexico city ) became aware that the statue was honoring a " BAD " guy and was taken down quietly ( politicle reasons on quietness ) by popular resentment ( demand ) .
This is what we need to tap into. We have for too long tried to talk with the politico types, and obviously politico types are not honest people. We need to take our message to the street! There is nothing wrong with Mexican people, somehow they found out about this stupid statue in their city, obviously a deal struck between politico types without regard to the people. As if Mexico does not have enough great people to have a statue of, they ran out of people and needed a 3rd world dictators statue? The people of Mexico did more then any of the politico structures would have done. This to me is a humble lessen we should learn, especially for Mher perhaps it is better to engage the students instead of asking a political person question in a forum that was politically motivated. If the people of Mexico can be sighted as an example then the student body can fill in, instead of having one Armenian brother go up against the political establishment and expect justice.

Now guys don't get me wrong here, I applaud all of you in this thread and this goal of facing injustice. This is my opinion please consider what I am saying, perhaps the victories we seek in the political realm have to be reconsidered and the social realm is where we need to achieve our aims. Who can stand seeing starving kids? Who cares if the kids are from Sudan, Cambodia, or mutilated Armenian babies, there is no real social human that can look at these pictures with any sense of comfort, yet the politico types have no problems in putting statues of dictator in their capital city. We are asking for mercy from corrupt entities and we are still here today expecting justice from filthy bastards. The Armenians did not get the statue removed it was the good people of Mexico that got this done. We should consider the value of other good peoples everyplace. Perhaps we might get justice one day.

I share this goal too, just saying maybe we need to learn this lessen and approach this from another angle that might bare more fruit.

    Getze Hayastan!

How comes your 'refugees" live in bad poor conditions after 25 years...???
Could't you spent those 5 million to offer palace quality datchas to 50 poor refugee families???

( you can buy a Datcha for 100.000 in world famous health resort center known as Gabala (alias Armenian district of Gudgashen)....)
Thought Vrej and others had good suggestions . An honest historicle understanding can produce countless more .
Recently met a husband / wife couple from Mexico city .
I asked if they were familiar with baboon statue and gifted baboon money .

How comes, that Azerbaijan forbids access to Jougha (Nakhitchevan), to any international observer, including US ambassador (site of the destruction of 10.000 unique middle age typically Armenian Khatchkars, your "academicians" claimed to be "Albanian" during all soviet era, that is yours). The destruction by azeri army askars was filmed from the Iranian side of the Arax.

He will most probably deny access denial ever happened (yet since 2000-s no one ever had access to Jugha, it is a fact, and one Scott guy, sent by RAA was even arrested and taken to KGB offices in Nakhitchevan for daring making photos, then expelled), and accuse NKR of the destruction of imaginary "azarbaijani" monuments.
You can reply that access to all tatar cemeteries is free in NKR, no tombstone, is intentionally destroyed on wide scale, even if none has any artistic value.. (proof are the images full on the net). None is older than XIX century, all are in their state, some suffering their age decrepitute, few received bombs, etc... specially in the cemetry of Akna (aka Akdam).
Concerning monuments, we have numerous data of hundreds of Armenian churches dynamited in Nakhitchevan, Northern Artsakh (Gulistan church dynamited, (no man's land) before the eyes of our boys in 97 or 98 if I am not wrong) : well documented source : RAA..., Ayvaziyan
Yet the only muslim traces in NKR are 4 mosques:
1 in Akna, easy access, and unique building not destroyed, protected by NKR law (apart from direct bomb by an azeri Su 25 bomber in 1994, and a T 72 direct hit of ours in 93..
3 moskes in Shushi, all protected by law, and even one restored by an Armenian NGO .... while from the original 6 Armenian, and one russian churches only 2 stand....

He will most definitely talk about khoajly so you can ask him questions about khojaly like "Why were the bodies found near Aghdam, which at that moment contained about 30,000-35,000 azeri soldiers?" "Why were the Meshketian Turks moved from Uzbekistan to khojaly and later prevented from leaving once the Armenian soldiers announced they would be attacking?" "If azerbaijan wants peace, than why don't they remove the snipers from the contact line like Armenia and the OSCE want?" "Why did azeri soldiers destroy the Armenian cemetery in Nakichevan?" "Why does azerbaijan keep making territorial claims towards Armenia?" "Why does azerbaijan keep distorting history by claiming Armenians are new to the region and northern Iran belongs to azerbaijan?"

If you need help with any questions they might ask in return let me know.

How can Azerbaijan expect any Armenian to take a ridiculous offer such as Karabakh becoming an "autonomous region" in Azerbaijan seriously when Azeri society and its leaders constantly spew venomous anti-Armenian statements that expose a deep problem of intolerance and xenophobia in Azerbaijan? Examples include Ilham Aliyev declaring that Armenians of the world are his enemies and Azeris and the state harassing author Akram Aylisli for writing about living in peace with Armenians.
