I've recently come across a discussion forum for those other people defending Armenia's borders -- the Russians (Gyumri). I was using Google Translate to read the conversations, but most of the topics are pretty typical (worried mothers, homesickness, questions about contracts and salaries). Oh, and apparently they're poorly fed.

                Nice finds Hyefighter2

In your second picture it looks to me that the tail sections of those Migs on the left have been removed.

That's at Erebuni air base? I didn't know the Russian MiG-29s were based out of there. I'd think they'd be in Gyumri or at the 102nd military base but I guess the latter doesn't have an airfield?

Before we are too proud of these capabilities of the police we have to realise that the intended purpose of these exercises are as preparation
for when there is a conflict between our people and the state whatever the reason may be, fraudulent election, social issues, environmental issues etc. etc.

I hope there will not be a need for them.

Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
