Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

A coward who ran away from the battlefield crying had a son who was born as another coward who is doing the same thing. CRYING.

20 years ago Armenia had little to no weapons while facing a coward that had a huge amount of weapons plus paid islamic fighters. What was the result? Armenia used the 'offensive weapons the cowards had' to decapitate and retake what was theres.

God forbid we go at it again you will lose all of azer land this time.

First target will be hit ganja and watch them flee.

'Armenia has no offensive weapons' are you the defense minster of Armenia or Artsakh?

How come you are posing as an Armenian?

I remember in 1991 when my dad brang home an azeri ear. yes an ear. cut straight of an azer's head while he was alive. they put it in a matchbox and brang it. many new azeri kids don't realise what happened to there dads - we gave you a present it's called your martyr's lane.

Armenian soldiers are standing at the border know the exact reason why they are there. The Armenian soldiers has an identity has a history and is a RACE.

Azer has nothing like this, no race, pretend country, and a list of ethnic minorities who would love to get away from bakus spastic rule.

I dont mean to insult you, but please refrain from sperging out in this thread.

Im not posing as an Armenian lol, I am an Armenian and I have been on this forum since late-2013, early 2014. I dont need to prove anything to an idiot on the internet, like you.

    'Armenia has no offensive weapons'
I dont think I have ever said that. Dont try to fabricate a quote in order to assist your ridiculous argument.

20 years ago Armenia had little to no weapons while facing a coward that had a huge amount of weapons plus paid islamic fighters. What was the result? Armenia used the 'offensive weapons the cowards had' to decapitate and retake what was theres.
Except none of those weapons were technologically better. They were just more of what Armenia had. The Azeris are doing it too, hoarding weapons like the Soviets. But they are not planning on using them. They are playing a different game

Armenians like you, who fail to see it, are the reason why we have soldiers dying on the front. You have your head so far up your nationalistic ass that you can't even see whats really going on. This is a hybrid war. Russia is fighting a hybrid war against Ukraine and its stupid government, Pakistan is fighting a hybrid war against India in Kashmir, and Azerbaijan is fighting a hybrid war against Armenia on the frontline of Artsakh. This has been asserted by ARMENIAN POLITICIANS AND OFFICIALS

Azerbaijan is waging a hybrid war whose main aim is to break its opponent. But thus far, the result of the diversionary tacticspursued to this end has been precisely zero, in that the Azerbaijanis have failed to capture a single position or to shift the line of the border - Armenian defence ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhanisyan

As Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers continue to die along the front lines that separate them, observers are trying to make sense of what is happening. Should this level of violence be seen as “normal”, or is it a sign of worse to come?

Armenia does not not the ability to attempt an offensive campaign against the Azerbaijanis.

    - No political support

    - Little experience fighting in the lowlands, on Azerbaijan's turf

    - The conditioning of the Armenian military to accept a defensive role would not allow it either.

The Armenian Military needs to adapt to this new hybrid war, which is very similar to the war Russia is waging with Ukraine. (In terms of tactics, KIA hiding, etc)

There are also some general issues on the way Armenia is going about preparing.

She is acquiring arms that would benefit her in the midst of conventional war. While that is fine and dandy, and probably smart too..I think equipment for counter-incursion forces is failing to brought into the light.

UAVs, sensors, recon troops on the border, etc would help alot more than just having grunts in a trench.

Gevz, stop getting butthurt over me pointing out that Armenia cannot take the war to Azerbaijan, especially on Azerbaijans turf and terms. You are only giving them what they want and making yourself look insane.

Lets call things with their own name by calling a spade a spade.

Somebody who wishes to offer land in order to have peace and quiet is no nationalist.
nor is somebody who has blind loyalty to another country than his.

Suffice to say that these are not the only attributes one must have to be honoured by being labelled as nationalist.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

That post was written in 2008.

Events have moved on and there is much better understanding of the forces in play as well as contributor awareness of the dynamics.

Exceptions are what the officials hide and the occasional jumped up contributor who thinks he knows everything when in reality knows fk-all.

Zoravar prudently also said “You can believe in whatever you want.”

I would say all precautions have been taken specially by the Russians for no such event ever happens, certainly not under their noses.

        .
Care to clarify what you mean in this post?

The Forum has always been pro Russians and it still is but not as extreme as before because those members don't post anymore, some banned for other reasons and so on.

Chuby the only Hybrid thing around here is you.......Armenia can go on offensive (especially our Fedayees, SFs) with regular soldiers and put the fear of Allah into them. They say there are no atheist in foxholes.......Have you smelled the stench of war? its something you never forget.

Some people look at the weaknesses or still hold s grudge against our leaders up to 700 years ago and how we were treated, killed, massacred.........but remember, by the time the Turks got to us we were battle worn from fighting many Armies and Empires that came through......we always ended keeping our lands and trades and when conquered our Army was never destroyed or disarmed. They were used for their own battles and considered Armenians very well trained, organized, successful and daring.
However we lost two regiments in Roman times fighting against 4 to 1 odds.......we were legions of Rome and we were the only warriors allowed to enter the capital of Persia.

If these Turkified Azeris think Armenians won't fight back then they are in big trouble.
