Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

If Russia's behavior (or silence) is fishy for us, it must be fishier for Azeris, since selling them weapons is against Russia's own commitments with Armenia. Several occasions Russian officials declared that Russia is ready to protect it's ally Armenia in case of need. That leaves turkey out. It must be worrisome for Baku to play in bear's arms.
Russia's move in Syria so far has not been met with serious western resistance. Nobody will guarantee of any restraint for Russia in Armenian/ Azery war.
So Azeris must also think that this could also be a trap by Russia. Get Baku start a war and then choke it to submission by our help.
At one point, worsening of relations with west is very damaging for Baku.
Unless, they have guarantees from Russia. But who has had any from them?
The cards are in Russia's hands.
If Baku starts a war, there is more of a chance it won't be the one to finish it. And it might not be in their liking.
I don't think that Russia will give up an ace card like Artsakh to anybody any time soon. It will need it for a long time.
    just a theory, nothing more.
Artsakh is the reason why Russia has Armenia as an ally and Azerbaijan buying Russian weapons and playing friend, when it could buy western better weapons.
If peacekeepers are stationed there, both of this countries can have and be forced into much larger diplomatic potentials that will involve west.
Right now it's in Russia's sole advantage.

We are all forgetting that Russia has a military base in our country, even for the base's sake they would support us,azeris are infidels that saw Russia as sack of money to rip In the case of gabala radar and their acceptance of Georgian territorial integrity and connections to west makes Russia as angry as all of baboons neighbors.i don't even mention the competition in oil and gas sector, their defeat is as rewarding for Putin as a bowl of grape being served to him on a coach while being cool down by two hot girls waving big bird feathers, like in the movies lmao, you get the picture

guys...guys...let's all think about this for a second! Russia will not intervene for now! Russia's a superpower and we shldnt expect that it's going to threaten a 3rd world country unless there is a solid reason to.

CSTO is a BS organization! It really has no value, but don't forget that we have a mutual defense agreement with Russia and our ally relations to count on! You rly don't expect kazaks and the rest of the turkic bunch to fight on our side...but the russians will intervene when their position is threatened in the caucuses!

Also, please, not every time the azeris fire at us means there is a russian conspiracy against us...I don't think aliev phonecalls Putin every 2 days and asks permission to fire! Azeris are more affected with turkish orders than russian.

It's true that every loss of Armenian life is a great tragedy for us...for politics unfortunately it is not so...for Russia the death of few Armenian soliders mean nothing..they can't compromise they're already weakening global image with a new threatening statement in the caucuses! They will keep silent...but if things get out of hand...that's when we'll see the bear moving in! Whether Russia likes it or not...Armenia is the only reliable partner in the south...and I think Putin knows that too well to let anything happen that might result in Russia losing it's foothold in the south.

            .

There already has been reports that our forces have taken over 2 vantage points.

The news feed claims these are confirmed reports.

Therefore on this assumption the Azeri should start complaining about Armenian aggression OR deny these reports.

They should start demanding our troop withdrawals.

Here we will find our friends and not friends depending who puts pressure on us to withdraw.

Also how successful we will be in our refusal to budge and therefore assume the pressure is superficial.

The only problem I can see is, how transparent the both sides will be to the public of their actions.

            .
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

The azeris will never admit to Armenia capturing territory for them that would be much worse than admitting losses of soldiers.

Then they should deny the reports.

They cannot pretend nothing is happening.

They can hide their losses of soldiers but cannot hide territorial losses.

Once things calm down journalists will be all over with photos etc.
