ANCA stop interfering with the agenda of the Armenian Government!! ANCA you are not armenia and are not associated with Armenian government! Just bunch of axpars trying to do something armenian in cozy America, with most of them not even going to Armenia. Let Armenia the official country of Armenians make the decisions about Armenia.
What did Anca do to you?How do they interfere? They are on the ground in Armenia (maybe not Arsakh)they do have rights as Armenian citizen don't they?
"All truth passes through three stages:
First, it is ridiculed;
Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident."
I understand you now; it looks like we have to give it some time to learn from them what's cooking? I know it's hard to wait, I feel very edgy about it too.
Diasporan Armenians should have a role when and if they're relocating to Armenia.
Sheer weight of numbers could give the Diaspora the deciding voice without being exposed to the consequences.
My family were discussing the border issue. Our view is that within 10 years Armenia could be finished. Open the borders, turkish goods & traders will flood the country and buy up the land. The turcs would achieve by commerce what they will never achieve by force.
Without foresight and measures by the Armenian Government…………….10 years is just about right hrai, Armenia will be bought and sold for.
There has to be certain laws that restrict the amount of investments that can be made by Turkey. Corporations cannot be allowed to sell themselves out to foreign investments but attractive enough to bring profitable business from Turkey.
Tariff is a good example that can be used as an advantage.
Armenia has many economic levers it can use; turkey needs this much more than Armenia. Land purchase should be another obvious thing on that big DO NOT list. Immigration and Visa restrictions, ect.
I like to believe that Armenia will be smarter than that especially in this rapidly changing superpower influences in the region and the critical importance of the Armenia geographically but more importantly as a respected Nation with truly great potentials.
The Case for Opening the Turkish-Armenian Border
Study for the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament
made under the framework contract with the
Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA)
24 July 2007
……Good neighbourly relations, however, require good will on both sides. As mentioned
above, the elements of a comprehensive deal would entail Armenia’s recognition of
Turkey’s borders and territorial integrity, alongside the opening of the border and the
normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations, and this would involve addressing the burden
of history. Armenia’s inclusion in the ENP – even though this policy is not comparable to
the accession process, as noted above – does offer the scope for greater EU influence on
the border question on the Armenian side as well. Moreover, its ties to Russia
notwithstanding, Armenia's geographical location, its economic isolation and its size
make it value its relations with the EU highly. In this respect, although the EU enjoys a
higher degree of potential influence on Turkey than on Armenia, in practice, given
Armenia’s vulnerable position, it is arguably as dependent on close and deepening ties to
the EU as Turkey. The priorities for action in the current ENP Action Plan for Armenia
do not include any reference to recognition of Turkey’s eastern border……
One of the EU persons was saying that he doesn't think that Armenia could be part of the EU. Serge was reminding that Armenia is only a 17 year old newly independent country and far ahead in a short span of time and couldn't be compared to a 100 year old independent country.
I just wish if we had a Wilsonian Armenia and be able to transport via the Black sea to Europe and the rest of the world, things would be better off of course. Perhaps some day in the near future. Why not?

How about the thugs that run Armenia from their cozy mansions (and own villas in Russia and the United States) stop making such a mess of things in what us akhpars would like to consider -- much to your chagrin and despite the fact that it is under mob rule -- our parent country?

It would be not good for turkey. If You are negotiating someone, You or She should gain or loose from bargain. Diaspora armenians had nothing to gain or loose from this bargain. So They will not make it easy for Turkey with their unrealistic wishes.

I am realy curious how many turk will interest to buy land from ROA or to immigrate ROA. Infact, most probably, It would be armenians who want to immigrate Turkey.

Guys like you are the reason why people from the diaspora don't like Hayastancis. Don't you see that our government is xxxxing it up. Even Dodi Gago is hinting that he'll leave the coalition if there is 1 pre-condition.
With this attitude there will never be unity between Hayer, what the xxxx is apxar stop with this attitude and dividing our people.

As far as negotiations, we expect and wish that RA makes the necessary restrictions and country safety measures for the sake of our Republic. You think that physically or monetarily Diaspora Armenians will not lose from Armenia's bargains; but our minds and souls are always with Armenia. Should I remind you that although we're here outside of the state yet we think about and support Armenia as our own lovely child.

Iranians though have no hidden agendas, I pray and hope that turkey will start being as good a neighbour as Iran.
