    Where did you read that its related to Armenians?
    A scientific journal in Armenia called "Araks" founded in 1993.

      Western Armenian: Jar
      Eastern Armenian: Char
      English: Ajar (slightly open, eg. 'the door is ajar')

        Մարտ (battle)
        Western Armenian: Mard
        Eastern Armenian: Mart
        English: Martial (of or to do with war or fighting, eg. 'martial arts'.

        But Մարտ also means 'March' as in the month, so I guess both the Armenian and the English are related to Mars, the Roman god of war.
