yes there are, you can go to villages where the majority have blonde hair and blue eyes. Also a good amount of Armenians have blue eyes. Of course it depends on the region also.

Blond hair is indigenous to Northern Europeans and not from the region. So it's likely that the Indo-Europeans brought it with them when they entered Anatolia/Mesopotamia from Europe via the Balkans or Western Asia.

Most likely the ladies holding the flag are American wifes/girlfriends of diasporan Armenians. However with Americans you never know, as they tend to have such mixed ancestries.

I seriously can't even believe my eyes, I'm having a hard time believing they are even Armenian. I've seen many Armenians in my life, but none like them.

I went to Armenia this past September and I have seen that most Armenian girls to be beautiful. They may not be extremely white and blonde, although a few are; but they are gorgeous. The men, a great many of them; I don't like their attitudes, their abusiveness towards most Armenian women. It's dispecable and the Armenian government and the law must put a stop with the outdated mentality that they still carry on towards women. We are not living in the 15th or the 16th century; but the 21st for heaven's sake.

It is intresting that you mention Armenian women's rights. I'm afraid the region has long had a problem in this regard. Western women are stupid, unreasonable and dishonour western men. Whilst women in the east have little or no rights at all. So it's seemingly a case of one extreme or the other.

I rather have the Western variant. Suppressing and abusing women is cruel and as Christians we should know better.
