Hispanic is a blanket term coined by the US government to refer to anyone of any ethnicity, race or nationality who speaks Spanish as their main language (whether indigenously or colonized), so it depends on what you mean by Hispanic, most Cubans for example are either Spanish or mixed Spanish and African, culturally some elements of the indigenous Tainos survived.

Now Mexicans are on the other Native either completely or primarily, hence we have different beliefs, folklore, opinions and so forth, for instance politically Cuban Americans and Mexicans nearly never get along

Thanks for the explanation Pedro. Is "Latino" a better term to use?

Linguistically yes, and to an extent culturally, you see, Latino was coined as short for Latino American by the French, when they wanted us to be part of their empire and drive the Anglos out, they did take over Mexico for a short while though, until we regained independence during the Cinco de Mayo timeline (let it be noted though that in general Native Americans were not treated cruelly by the French, and the French were actually quite friendly towards us)

But yes, most prefer that, irrespective of race or ethnicity, however best bet is to ask someone where in Latin American they are from and just use that term, our own term for people of Native American descent (partially or fully) is Nican Tlaca (comes from my language, Nahuatl) meaning directly Native People.

As said though, Latino is fine, but Hispanic might be cause for offence as for instance Mayans would be called Hispanic, while not having an ounce of Spanish blood or even speaking the language as 2 Million Mayans in Yucatan.

Not a problem, I kinda went off topic, so this is the last link I'm gonna post :

That explains it better than I could, another site is the Mexica Movement, I warn people that the Mexica Movement might appear radical to some, so be wary if not reading their entire site, as it could lead to confusion, they use pretty strong language

Armenia should pass law to require women to cover their chests and have covered till their knees. Now in Yerevan women dress like there is no tomorrow, no respect for their families, their name. In 90's it was not as bad. It is really of concern to me what is happening to families and especially women. Respect for women is going down. Our women should know their place and not get out of hand. It is all the stupid Europe influence. Instead of all these Armani stores and not to mention the Canali store opening up on Tumanian, we have more importantly emphasize education, religion, and family. Without this, Armenian race will go down bad path.

Why don't we have them wear burkas too? The way they dress is a cultural thing. If the general opinion and acceptance of that type of dress shifted, then so would the fashions. You don't respect women either if you claim that they should know their place and not get out of hand. What does that even mean? What is their place?
You can't emphasize education if you don't want women to think for themselves either. Those are incompatible.

Clothing and how you dress more often than not reflects the inner world/ personality of its bearer so by enforcing such unnecessary laws, certain 'people' would not be identifiable easily.

This is an excellent point too. Even though society might be more accepting of that type of dress generally, the fact that someone dresses that way reveals something about the individual as well. Although, I think what Mos is proposing is an extreme.

Yes, but I'd rather say 'tolerant' than 'accepting', with a slight nuance.
