When you say "Երեւանի մէջ" you want to insist that it's inside/ within Yerevan and not in surrounding areas. For "Երեւանում", in Yerevan sounds more correct. And there is no such thing as "at Yerevan".

, I think personally that one of the things you've got to know of a language is the "swear words", "bad words" and so on...because, as I always say...if I am between friends in England and something falls on my feet, I am not gonna say "Oh that hurts!"
