Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Do not forget also the j-e-w-s played a role during the Armenian genocide and the destruction of the Armenian people the last decades (as did the kurds), also in recent history they are one of the major suppliers of Azerbaijan. During the Artsakh war a lot of dirty bombs Azerbaijan used against peaceful Armenian population was Israeli-made.

They are directly responsible for killing thousands of Armenians and they do not care, as if that is not enough, they also openly deny the Armenian genocide (Turkey, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Israel, again axis of evil).

How can you be friends with Israel gunther if you know one day they will backstab you again? Yes, we can use this momentum, but never trust the devil.

Iran is even better than Israel for us Armenians.
First of all, don't confuse government policy with the mindset of the people. Just because a government doesn't recognize Armenian Genocide doesn't mean the people of that country deny Armenian Genoicde.

All I'm saying that the Genocide issue right now is a political issue, not a historical issue (unfortunately). Countries will use the Genocide to further their own interests. So if a country wants to put pressure on Turkey they will use the Genocide issue, pure and simple. When Israel has important military ties with Turkey, it's going to not recognize Genocide obviously. When it wants to put pressure on Turkey (like now) it will want to recognize it.

xxxs played a role during Armenian Genocide? What are you member of the Armenian Aryan Union?

And yes Israel helps Azerbaijan, so for that I don't support Israel very much.

Honestly, once Karabakh issue gets solved, all this won't matter. Our military will be a purely defensive one, and we won't preoccupy ourselves with alliances and potential war. We will finally have peace and stability in our region, open borders everywhere, and free trade everywhere. Our country can prosper, and we can finally live in peace. I wait for that day eagerly, because honestly I'm sick of threat of war, military build up, and all this hate that has engulfed our region.

      What?!

How is the factual and documented genocide of over a million Armenians a political issue?!?!

The question is why does the government of Turkey care whether or not Israel or the USA recognizes the Armenian genocide?

If Turkey is afraid that the J3wish lobby has the power to give Armenian land back to Armenians simply by allowing recognition of the Genocide in the USA and Israel, that means that Israel is the one that has interest in Armenians not getting their lands back. So if the Zionists didn't play a role in the Genocide then why do they hold the cards to Armenian fate?

You make me laugh. It is a known fact Kurds, xxxs, Germans and others had a hand during the Armenian genocide. Rich xxxs supported this so they could take over the business of the Armenians (the same for Kurds).

Again, you are just ignoring whatever I say. Again, Turkey has good economical and military ties with countries who have remained neutral (AND EVEN RECOGNIZED the Armenian genocide). Israel is not neutral, they are anti-Armenian from the beginning and THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TURKEY. That's just a good excuse for them to deny the Armenian genocide. They want to have 'one unique' holocaust, and they do not care of the suffering of other peoples.

As I have said before, I am not talking about the people (who by the way do not mind their government policy of genocide denial, only 1 out of 100.000 xxxs complains).

Mos, wake up. Karabakh will not be solved, whole of Armenia wil not be solved. The problem is not Karabakh, the problem is YOU, ME and all the other Armenians, they want us dead. The Turks want to destroy our nation and as long as we have borders with these barbaric genocide nations, we should never fall asleep and should always remember their ultimate goal, the destruction of the Armenian nation.

This world is not a world of peace, we should FIGHT for our rights and for our future. Ofcourse, we should be diplomatically smart and strive for 'open-borders' with Turkey, but we should never make the mistake to trust them.

A Turkish proverb is ''to feed the enemy and to show them they are his friends and when he does not watches, cut his troat from the back'' (something like that). That's Turkish culture.

Can't believe that after what the Turks did ten times and Azeris did (AND DO!) a few years ago (mass killings of Armenians, falsifying our history, destruction of Armenian monument and anti-Armenian propaganda) you still believe you can live in peace with these sub-humans.

We shall never live in peace (peace is a fake concept). Peace should be forced through our military might. And we shall succeed.

This time, I am against being defensive. From now we should be aggresive and when we have the chance finish it for once and for all (when we have the chance we should destroy the whole of Azerbaijan). Kurds will do the work in the West. Do not underestimate our capabilities, we could have reached Baku during the end of the Nagorno-Karabakh war.

Exactly. These Armenians who think they are"white" and want to be part of the Aryan Nation Nazis are pathetic idiots. I am with you. I don't want any war, I want peace, stability and open relations with all. Obviously Turkey is the enemy and always will be as long as it continues to deny the Genocide and offer reperations. If they go the way of Germany post WWII vis a vis Israel, then we can slowly have relations with them too but I don't see that happening anytime.

I am realizing more and more that fanatic Islam is the greatest threat to us and Turkey is becoming more Islamist every day and more anti-Armenian (these 2 go hand in hand).

Yeah, those crazy Islamic neighbors down south are REALLY anti-Armenian. Armenians have survived in Iran for 400 years, in the Ottoman Empire for 600 years. After the Genocide, many migrated to Islamic countries and survived there as well. About a QUARTER to 1/3 of the world is Muslim... better learn to get along with them because they aren't going away.

Not necessarily, Gunther. If you are talking about present times, let me remind you that Iran is surely an Islamist country, yet it has continued to favor Armenia over Shiite Azerbaijan. If you are talking about the past, the pan-Turanist ideology was what the CUP regime believe in when it went on murdering the Armenians...

What has a mere discussion about the Armenian quarter of Jerusalem turned into... lol

Re: I never hear anything about the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem...

No Muslim country has recognized the AG except for Lebanon. Armenian should play both sides to their advantage; deep down we are not welcomed in any of them. If Israel wants to recognize the AG for its own national interests we should play along, plus it will give me a chance to rub their nose into it and let them know what they can do with their recognition.

As I understand the population of the Armenian Quarter has dropped below 4000 and besides what has been already mentioned there has been some clashes with the Greek orthodox as well.

sure there may have been some rich xxxs who may have helped, but the actions of a few selfish people doesn't mean that the xxxs as a whole wanted the Armenians killed.

That's just a good excuse for them to deny the Armenian genocide. They want to have 'one unique' holocaust, and they do not care of the suffering of other peoples.
I know a few Israelis from Israel who say that many Israelis in Israel want Armenian Genocide recognized. Again you shouldn't generalize and you shouldn't merge government policy with what the actual populace thinks.

Mos, wake up. Karabakh will not be solved, whole of Armenia wil not be solved. The problem is not Karabakh, the problem is YOU, ME and all the other Armenians, they want us dead. First of all, you must understand that the everyday person in Turkey and Azerbaijan do not care that much about Armenia. Yes, you have the nationalistic goons who get highlighted that say stupid things, that doesn't mean every Turk and Azeri wants destruction of Armenia. In Armenia the youth don't want to be bother with Karabakh issue or Turkish relations, they are preoccupied with the yerevan life.
Can't believe that after what the Turks did ten times and Azeris did (AND DO!) a few years ago (mass killings of Armenians, falsifying our history, destruction of Armenian monument and anti-Armenian propaganda) you still believe you can live in peace with these sub-humans.
We have to live them, we have no other choice, unfortunately. And I don't like Turks, don't get me wrong, after all they killed many of my relatives during genocide, and their government still denies this.
We shall never live in peace (peace is a fake concept). Peace should be forced through our military might. And we shall succeed.
peace can never be forced with military might. And sorry, but our military doesn't stand a chance against Turkey's.
This time, I am against being defensive. From now we should be aggresive and when we have the chance finish it for once and for all (when we have the chance we should destroy the whole of Azerbaijan). Kurds will do the work in the West. In the Karabakh issue, I agree with an aggressive stance, but would you also want us to have to rule 8-10 million Azeris?

                  Kanadahye and Tigran

Let me remind you that many Muslim nations held solidarity with Azerbaijan during the war. The Organization of Muslim states has probably declared hundreds of Azeri propaganda about Karabakh. And they helped Azeris financially a lot during the war and supplied mercenaries (Afghan mujahadeen, Chechen terrorists). So don't be so quick to fall into their laps either. remember during the Armenian Genocide, in order for the Turks not to kill us we had to convert to Islam, and so Ottomans massacred the Christian minorities in their empire. So Muslims in general haven't been our allies either. In short, we've had very few allies throughout history. We have to learn not to become to reliant on any power, including Russia. as Russia would sell us in a heartbeat for Azeri oil.
