Actually blacks are increasing in Yerevan. Though most use Yerevan as a transit point to Europe. Persians are mostly tourists, it's usually the Persian-Armenians taking up residency in Armenia. Fortunately they aren't a big problem.....yet.

It upsets me that everytime we have to discuss women or racial issues this is how it ends. I was cheking out a soccer forum with a armenian thread and its the same bs there to.. somebody saw a black person in Yerevan and concluded that the whole country is being overrun by blacks and another guy was bragging about having sex with a azeri woman then proceeded to derate her. One common trend with all these types of things is the inability or unwillingness of some people to put themselves in other peoples shoes even when they are already wearing them. Some L.A. armos are discussing how foreigners from Africa and Iran are a using up the resources of Armenia as if the L.A. armos do not accept welfare nor do they scam the state or federal government. Hipocracy is the common trend observed among racists and sexists over and over again and it sickens me.

You do realize that the text that followed the quote of Haykakan was direct at him?

You are free to post wherever you like, but if you want to post at this forum, then we have rules that need to be followed. Both you and Haykakan were not complying with the rules and I've asked you both to stop it. I don't see what your problem is, but I assume that if you are leaving anyway it is because you feel that you will be unable to prevent yourself from insulting other members as I asked you to do in the future.

How come most people get what that motto means but mr gegev does not? The inability to "get things" seems to be a common issue with all the "conservatives" here. I believe these people cannot or willnot look at life from another persons perspective no matter what. They are set in their ways and will never change regardless of any fact or reason. One of the biggest reasons we humans have survived is our ability to adapt to change yet adaptation is out of the question for people like these. This inability to adept is hardly an armenian issue it is a human issue and was very evident in the presidential debate last night. All you heard both candidates say was more oil, gas, and coal while every year new record high tempratures are set and ice shelves the size of USA disappear along with farmable land due to drought. There is a common trend here, it is this inability to learn and adept that will lead our species to extinction. Unlike most things we humans are used to dealing with - some things cannot be made "ok" at the last minute, its like critical mass once you reach it there is no going back. Please stick you heads out of your vors so that you do not doom us along with you.

While I agree with the general sentiment of what you said. There's a resistance to inconvenient reality that is very frightening. That said, when you say things such as the last line, its somewhat inflammatory and I don't appreciate that because it leaves this kind of crap for me to deal with. I know you're kind of speaking generally and are trying to walk a fine line of insult here, but you can hardly fault people for interpreting that statement as anything but that. You are, in all fairness, equating them with those "most people" to whom you refer. So you're inciting a reaction, which seems always to be to lash out in insult, which of course, is a violation of the rules. However your hands are not clean here either. You can ask them to join us in "reality" without bringing their "vors" into it.
